Pet care experience
I have cared for pets of all kinds for as long as I can remember. I worked in a dog grooming + boarding facility which allowed me the opportunity to gain grooming skills while exposing me to a variety of breeds and personalities! Every pet is unique in their own way, I love working with new friends while growing a bond with them! While I currently do not have a dog of my own, I live with three phenomenal pups and have my first kitty cat! I love all the animals in my life and hope yours will be added to the list!

In someone's home I do my best to follow instructions to a T so that each client knows that their expectations will be met, if not exceeded. I am an exceptionally respectful person and keep the pet's safety as a top priority.

Is your dog friendly with other animals, people, or children? Do they need water throughout a walk? Are they scared of loud noises? Is your dog reactive? (Not a deal breaker) Are there any special instructions to make your pet more comfortable? I ask these questions so I can be a bit more prepared to give your pet the highest care possible. I am quick on my feet and a great observationist which allows me to read body language on the fly and use preventative actions to ensure everyone is safe and happy.
A typical day
Each pet is unique! For active dogs, I like to give them a good walk and play so that they are not left with built up energy that could be misdirected. For less active dogs, I ensure they are well exercised within their own limits. For one dog this might look like a lap around the neighborhood, for another dog it might look like two tennis ball throws in backyard. Each pet needs to be assessed throughout every care session to ensure their needs are being properly met. I have enjoyed taking my pets on walks around the neighborhood while I learn my new area!
