Active stay at home mom w/2yr pup

Pet care experience

I'm an active stay at home mom with 2 kids in school most of the day and a 2 yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback-mix pup. I am able to schedule my days around making sure our pup gets plenty of love, attention, consistency and exercise. I only do doggy day care, and for my fee you get: -100% supervision (I do not leave dogs unattended the entire time they are with me) -Runs/Hikes/Walks (most days I take dogs out for 1-2 hrs of exhausting exercise) -Socialization (as much or as little as you prefer) -Safety (I am extra cautious about everything - opening doors, interactions with people/kids/other dogs outside the home, doggy playtime at home, etc.) Drop off and pickup generally between 7:30am and 6:00pm. I feel the same way about my dog that I do about my children - I'm INCREDIBLY picky and don't feel comfortable leaving them anywhere that I'm not 100% comfortable that they will not be unattended or ignored, so I completely understand wanting to find a trustworthy, comfortable place to leave your pup. NOTE: Since my 'mom' schedule can be highly unpredictable from day to day, I am not the best option for "regular" doggy day care. I am a good option for those who need their higher-energy puppy or dog tired out on a particular day due an unexpected long absence and want reassurance that your pet will be safe, happy and tired out. (i.e. all-day work meeting, driving for school field trip, traveling in the area with your dog). I will make sure my calendar is constantly updated as to which exact days I am available.

Linda took very good care of my dog. She took time to make sure my dog and hers are a good match. With Linda my dog had an active and fun filled day, and she sent me updates throughout the day. We definitely will be back!

Honestly, so wonderful to have found Linda! She is very consciencious, and also takes the dogs for really good long hikes. Very happy to leave my dog with her, and more importantly, my dog is happy to be there!

Information Linda Y. would like to know about your pet

Prefer dogs that really enjoy playing, wrestling and other pup antics. A much older dog that doesn't want to be bothered would probably not enjoy being here with my pup as she wants to play with every dog. I'm happy to be available for a quick pup "meet & greet" to confirm that the dogs get along before booking...

A typical day

Typical schedule for 'doggy daycare' - about 2 hours walking, jogging, hiking in the hills, socializing with other dogs/people out and about (a little rain doesn't stop us) in the morning. When we get back home the dogs generally play in the backyard while I do yard work. They can come in and out as they please. If it's really wet out, I'll usually do another walk or romp at a local empty dog park just to get some more energy out. I guarantee that your pup will be tired upon pickup. Your dog will be fully supervised their entire stay. $45/day or $35/half day (<5 hrs)
