Walk, Run, Play

Pet care experience

While your dog is here, he/she will be part of our family - enjoying free play, ball play, and lots of walks; relaxing in the house; going for walks (at least 3 a day - bike path and Bidwell Park are very close), and even short runs on leash if your dog likes to run. Your dog will be treated as a family member along with our border collie. Boarding dogs sleep in a crate if that's your preference, or on a doggie bed or rug. I typically only have 1 or 2 boarders at any given time. High energy herding breeds are welcome but no barkers please The dog sitting is a family business to give my busy college kids some income. Between my 3 kids and I we provide your dog with loads of attention and love. I am a non-practicing veterinarian, so you can be assured your dog will receive the best of care. I don't provide veterinary care (or training) for boarders, but if you have a dog with special medical needs (recovering from surgery, wound care, medications), your dog is welcome and will receive the best of care. Dogs must be house-trained, spayed or neutered (except puppies), up-to-date on vaccines (proof required), and non-aggressive towards people). Please bring the food your dog is used to (to avoid tummy trouble and help him,/her feel at home). You are welcome to bring a favorite rug, bed, or toy to help your dog feel comfortable. My border collie is playful, but very gentle with shy or small dogs. She'll even let the guest dogs take all her toys! Discounts may be given for: - additional dogs (2 or more dogs, same person) - stays of one week or more - repeat customers (stays of 3 or more days) Extra charges may apply for: - dogs over 70 lbs - puppies under 10 months or not house-trained (we can probably work something out if your pup is not yet house -trained) - dogs requiring special care beyond oral medicine I also provide boarding for rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, lizards, birds, and other small animals. (Our host bunny, Sir Charles, can be seen in the photos). Sorry, but to avoid dog-cat conflicts, I don't board cats. Linda

Sky seems to have had a great time on her stay with Linda, her daughter and dogs. I would recommend them for anybody who needs dog boarding services.

Linda was excellent and kept us updated with pictures and information about how our puppy’s stay with her was going. We came home to a happy, healthy pup. Would definitely use her services again.
