Unfortunately, the new place doesn't allow pets so we're house/dog/cat sitting in your home instead. I had to leave town for awhile for work but my partner Shawn is still the animal whisperer he has always been, and still walking an assortment of dogs around the city on any given day. I still do the communication and administration, and he does the walking, feeding and loving. Shawn and I have owned and cared for dogs and cats and other small animals throughout most of our lives. The fact that we cannot have animals in our new residence has been very hard on us. Rover offers this house sitting service so we jumped on it. There are few things we both enjoy more than spending time with dogs; and it is a great honour to accompany them on their walks and spoil them as much as we can. Between us we have rescued approximately 20 dogs and cats in our lifetime. RIP Lucky, Rudy, and Caine. Linda The dogs are never unattended. They go out in the yard every 3 hours and a walk around the Common twice daily. They sleep with us if that's what they do at home. As per Rover rules, they are never off leash outside. As per Furreal rules, they are never unattended inside. Shawn is a stay at home Military Vet. There are private areas with doors for feeding time.
