Pet care experience
We have fourdogs of our own, we have one Chow, a Pit Bull, Aussie Cattle Dog mix, and a Husky German Shepherd mi. We have both volunteered at a local animal shelter, pet adoption sites, and I have volunteered at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. We have fostered dogs in the past and all four of our dogs are rescues. We have been dog sitting for several years for family and friends. We have attended beginning and intermediate dog training classes with our dogs with a certified trainer from CPDT-KA & Therpy Animals of Utah. We use those same training without own dogs. Training consists that dogs are trained techniques that are dog-friendly, humane, non-punishing, and are greatly effective. These methods are used with all our dogs, they are reward based motivational training. I bring homemade natural treats for your dogs, after verifying that there are no allergies to the ingredients.

Linda did a great job taking care of my diabetic cat, feeding him and giving him insulin shots. Came back to him happy and healthy!
Our pups and I loved Linda and we cannot day enough about how great she was. We were very sad to move away and not able to take her with us. :) she is so kind, loving, caring and really goes out of her way to give your fur babies the best care possible.
Linda was an excellent sitter and was flexible with what we needed. We would definitely use her again.
Patient! I have a young pup and he is a bit shy and timid of strangers. Linda kept me informed of his behavior during her visit. I appreciate her willingness to take time with him once we just moved from out of state and he is. But out of sorts.

I do not have any breed preferences! All dogs have their own special personality that is unique to them. I do not believe that there are bad breeds at all. All dogs are unique just as humans are.
A typical day
We will go for walks in their neighborhood. If the doggie parents are okay with it, dog parks are always a fun place for dogs. If the weather is hot, I have a kiddie pool that the dogs can play in. We can play fetch if they like to do it. I play a game with my dogs called find it. I will have a special treat that they love and will toss bits of it around for the dog to find. This helps with mental and physical activity. I take several pictures of your dogs while I am with them and send them to you with updates of your pup.i send three to four updates daily when dog sitting. When doing drop in care I send one update of what we have done along with a few pictures. On dog walks I send you a picture of us on a walk, potty info, and a map of our walk; which shows the exact map of where we walked, the duration, and time.
