I don't have any dogs of my own at this time and really love to have the company of dogs. I love to play fetch with them and pet them and cuddle with them...dogs are just the best. I am semi-retired and work part time from home. I live in kind of a rural area in Ham Lake with an acre yard. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet for walking dogs, and there is a park nearby. I would want your dog to feel at home in my home and feel at ease. I think dogs can tell I like them from the time I meet them because it's just the way I feel inside. I've had dogs for many years of my life and now I'm in a position to have the time for them again. I am willing to board 3 dogs at a time if they are from the same family, otherwise I prefer to do up to two at a time in order to give your loved ones a lot of personal attention and spend time with them to play or chill on the couch.

Our experience having Linda watch our dogs was awesome. Linda is so kind and was always quick to respond to messages. Linda made the process so easy for us. She loved and cared for our “girls” like they were her own. They got the royal treatment during their stay❤️. It was fun to get the updates and pics. We were very comfortable and happy with the entire experience:)!

I would want to know what the preferences of your dog(s) are. How do they like to play, where do they like to sleep? Are they use to being on the couch, if so that is fine by me. Where do they like to eat, how to position their bowls so it is just like home. Do they have a routine for potty breaks? I want them to feel comfortable and at ease and happy. I"ll move over on the couch if they think they need my spot. :}
A typical day
The neighborhood here is fairly rural so pretty great for walking dogs and there is a walking path off the street. There is very little traffic. There is also a park less than a mile away. The yard is plenty big to play fetch and just run or walk around. I do not have a fenced back yard but I do have a trolley line that is pretty long for dogs to travel on and is well shaded in the afternoon. I have a deck that is 20 feet by 30 feet with gated steps so dogs can spend leisure time out there or play with toys. It has sunny and shaded areas.
