Caring, compassionate dog owners!

Pet care experience

Hello! Bill and I would love to care for your pets! We recently relocated to Oak Harbor from San Diego, CA where we met, married and raised two children, multiple dogs, a few cats, & a horse, not necessarily in that order. We have been pet sitting through Rover for the past 6.5 years since Linda retired from a 30 yr retail career with Macys. Bill recently retired from a 34yr teaching career in elementary and middle school. While working in San Diego, we teamed up with another great pet sitter, Emily, a client who eventually became our business partner. We worked together for the past two years, so you will also see her name mentioned in our recent reviews. Here is a little bit about our experience as pet owners and professional service as well. We have had many types of dogs, primarily rescue animals. We currently own a 13 yr old Beagle. When visiting San Diego, we frequently care for our daughter's dogs, a Pom/ Dachsund mix and Poodle mix . We have experience caring for both young and elderly dogs. We allow dogs on the furniture in our home. We can provide a pet bed or comfy chair for your dog to sleep in. Daily walks, homemade food and playtime are part of our regular routine. Our home is a welcome place for animals and they are always treated as a member of the family. - Linda & Bill

Linda and Bill took care of our beloved dog, Baby Ruth, while we were away, and we couldn't be more grateful for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond by sending us daily pictures and videos, which truly warmed our hearts and assured us that she was in good hands. It was evident that they treated Baby Ruth like she was their own, giving her all the love and attention she needed. We highly recommend Linda and Bill to anyone in need of pet-sitting services. Thank you for taking care of our furry family member so wonderfully!

Linda and Bill are experienced and professional in their care of our 14 year old dog. She feels safe and comfortable with them. I trust their judgement and they keep us informed with daily updates/photos. They have accommodated our dog’s quirky habits and helped her adjust to their place. They are always my first choice on Rover.

Linda & Bill always take great care of my pups. Plenty of snuggles and pics. The girls also love exploring the big fenced back yard with doggie door access.
