Grr-ific Pet Sitter! ✨
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Linda and I've been with Rover for almost 10 years on and off. I live with my parents at the moment, and they're both retired, so someone is always at home and it’s quiet. I love doing pet sitting bc I've always been such an animal person; They bring so much joy. I love repeat clients too bc you get to see them grow over time! I’ve taken care of pups and kits all the way to seniors! I’ve handled meds in pill pockets, brushes, puppy pads, etc. I'd love to care for your fur baby :) If you are unsure of whether or not I am a good choice, feel free to read my reviews and speak to those who have booked me. My primary concern is making sure that your pet is safe, happy, and comfortable!
Reviews
Linda and her family are the best! She had my Roxie, whom I’ve never left with anyone other than family for 11 days while we went to Hawaii. Linda sent me updates everyday with photos keeping in mind the 5 hour time difference! She listened to all my absurd request and beyond while having Roxie as a guest in her home. I felt so comfortable on my trip knowing Roxie was in very capable hands. We will definitely be using Linda and her family again. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone to watch their fur babies.
Linda and her parents immediately made us feel comfortable leaving Pete for a few days. She sent multiple updates and photos showing how much fun he was having! Thanks again! We will definitely book Linda again in the future!
Linda is AMAZING! She was so kind and sweet to our baby. I knew she was going to be great when before she even approved the dog sitting she met with me and my dog. She made sure our dog was not only a good fit for her but she was a good fit for the dog too. Our dog knew her before the first day and had been to her house so that reduced his stress. She made sure to send detailed updates, pictures and videos every day. I felt very comfortable with our baby with her. Would definitely recommend!
Linda is awesome! She is very detail oriented and responsible. She asked a lot of questions and took the time to really understand my pups routine and needs. The daily updates, photos and videos provided a great window into Casey’s stay and showed how happy he was. It was clear he was having a blast and was showered with love and attention throughout his stay. I have no doubt that this is one of my pup’s new favorite places to be. Highly recommend Linda for your pet sitting/boarding needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I usually talk to owners beforehand, because they know their pets better. We talk about what they're comfortable with (if they're ok with being around other dogs/cats or people, if they need a quiet environment, if they're scared of anything or not trained, what their style of play is). I try to follow the schedule and habits the owners specify since that causes the least disruption. If there's any toys, leashes, beds and food you'd like to bring I'd be happy to use it! It’ll definitely make the stay less stressful for your pets to have some familiar smells around. Our house has a fenced backyard and room to run around, and a/c and heat indoors so we can hang out and play either inside or outside!

Information Linda F. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about any allergies that your pet may have, injuries or meds that I should know about, and emergency contacts (preferably vet number and your number) in case something goes wrong. Better to be safe than sorry! We are close to a vet clinic as well. I also would like to know about any relevant problems he or she might have, just so that I'm more prepared (for example, if a dog is skittish or aggressive towards other dogs or humans. I have had dogs like that before and it's totally ok! We just figure out how to handle the situation as needed (crossing the street, avoiding kids etc).) and finally just logistics like supplies. Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
A typical day
I can take the dogs out for a walk if you prefer it and to get simulation from new scents, but we also have a backyard and can let them out whenever so they don't have to rush for potty. For dogs I'd take them out for walks as many times and however long as you usually do. We have a park path right across from us that makes for the perfect walk! For cats we'd enjoy playtime and cuddle/relax time, depending on their personality and energy.

My hours are flexible! Since my parents aren’t looking to adopt and I moved in with them a few months ago, I thought it would be great to continue pet sitting here in their home. Previously, I was a regular traveling sitter in Los Angeles and I moved here in June ‘23. If I read your message/ instructions and think it may not be a good fit for whatever reason, I will let you know upon booking request so that you can find someone else asap. For example if I have any events booked already or need to leave at a certain time. I try to not book multiple rover clients in one day whenever possible just to keep it safer.
