Pet care experience
I’ve always had pets…cats, dogs, hamsters, bunnies, even fish (admittedly, only one). I’ve experienced trouble finding someone to help out during long days or times away. I am retired, in very good health, and available to walk, feed, visit your pet when you are away/unable. I have experience with house/pet-sitting and I am honest, trustworthy and dependable. I have plenty of experience with older dogs and their specific needs as our beloved shih-tzu lived a nice long life (15.5 years) but, sadly, struggled with dietary restrictions, poor vision, deafness and arthritis so he required some special attention for the last few years. I have helped numerous friends with their dogs and cats over the years…from kittens/cats, puppies and small mixed breeds to German shepherds, pit bulls, and boxers to Great Danes and Bernese Mountain dogs. I believe that consistency is the key to a happy and secure pet so maintaining any specific behavior or training methods would be part of any service I offer.

Linda came over a few days before the walk. She met our dog , was very interested in finding out how to do the best job for our dog’s needs . She certainly did that ! When we came home our dog was relaxed , not stressed due to loneliness or lack of activity.
Linda did a great job taking care of our two dogs. She ensured they had their meals, meds and playtime. When we returned, we could tell they enjoyed their time with Linda which made us feel good for leaving them with such a wonderful sitter.
I can't sing enough praises for Linda. She is what all dog lovers hope for in a dog-sitter. One of our dogs is too old to be kenneled, and I don't want her separated from her "sister", so a dog caregiver is necessary. Linda asked the right questions regarding dog care from eating to sleeping to walking etc. She kept us updated while we were away, and often sent pictures of the dogs. We felt at ease for the first time ever leaving our dogs in Linda's care, and actually look forward to her spending time with them, as they very obviously love her. I recommend Linda wholeheartedly and with zero reservation whatsoever. Anyone would be fortunate to have her care for their fur babies!
Linda is compassionate, kind and professional. She loves to take care of others and will treat your pet like her own! She has multiple grand-doggies and kitties that loves her good scratching skills! Linda will provide great customer service and is very trustworthy to be in your home/on your property!

A typical day
I am happy to help maintain a daily routine based on your requests and your pet’s needs. I am also happy to “mix things up” a little if you (and your pet) are up for that! I tend to be a pretty animated and playful person so if your pet enjoys interactive play, I will happily accommodate.
