Lover of canines, equines, felines!

Pet care experience

Ready for a break? Check out this country girl with a love of all kinds of critters (except scorpions... sorry!) my Dad raised 28 Siberian huskies when I was a kid and we’ve always had a dog. Always wanted a horse more than a car (still do). Random cat came to my porch when I was 7 and ended up being the family pet even though parents anti-feline (I think she was looking for me) as far as dogs go, I had a Dobie pup and didn’t want to leave him so he sat in my lap.... during church! I clean houses and all my clients have dogs and the dogs go bonkers when they see me (in a good way) no, I don’t bribe them with treats haha ok sometimes I’m super positive and I’m like a bubbly glass of champagne. I even got a positive attitude award as a kid. Since I clean houses I clean a lot of poo. I have no problem cleaning up dog hair and dog fluids. I’ve had many dogs in my life but Darla, a boxer, definitely stole my heart. I had her until age 10 and I held her as she breathed her last breath in my arms😔 she was a treasure. Well not to depress you so let’s end happy. My sister’s dog, Krash, is one of my favorites. If I play jingle bell rock, he’ll sing with me (of course his sounds like a howl and goodness I don’t think I do when I sing!) oh lastly, Maggie is one of my favorites too. She’s a white German Shepherd. Her owner works a lot so I get good time with her. The other day I said, “Maggie is doing her poo pant.” Her owner was like whaaaaaat?! Yep. She pants like that when she has to poo. No, I don’t think so (says the owner). Do u mind if I take her out? 10 minutes later..... a lovely pile of poo. I’m not a dog whisperer and lots I don’t know. But I’m good with dogs and they like me. That you can’t train. I also have experience and LOVE birds and goats and have owned Guinea pigs, chickens, rats, mice, doves, quail, lovebirds, bearded dragon, fire belly toads, hermit crabs, salt water fish, dumpy tree frogs, and conures. My schedule is flexible and stays that way to be available to care for animal needs. I’m happy to hang out with the animal and interact with them and enjoy each other’s company! I’m happy to house sit with your animal staying in your home 18-20/hours per day if not longer. I understand my house sitting rates might be higher than other sitters but I provide a rare service. My commitment to your animal means they are my top priority. My job is to keep your animal and myself safe as well as provide an enjoyable time for your animal while you are away. It can be very disheartening, confusing and stressful when their owners leave so I put all my energy into helping your animal enjoy our time together trying to break down any barriers that might prevent that.

Linda is the best dog sitter ever! She truly gets to know your dog! There is no better feeling when you can leave your home, with your furry family member, in the hands of someone like Linda! We received photos, comments, & updates throughout our trip. Linda takes excellent care of your home as well! We are definitely going to hire her again!

Linda took great care of the kittens while we were gone :) She was responsive and left notes about how they were feeling each day.

Linda was prompt picking up my dog and taking him for a walk while we were out. She was very pleasant and had great communication. I definitely felt comfortable having her take my dog out and I would recommend her.

Linda was wonderful! She picked up our last minute job, which really saved us while out of town. She was patient with our nervous pup until he was ready to walk and administered his medication. Plus, she noticed that he had an accident before she arrived and she cleaned it - which is above and beyond!

Availability

I have a few commitments but I can be available as best as possible. We can discuss your needs on a meet and greet. I clean houses but usually I can make your job my only commitment. I like to take the dog with me and keep them close to me at all times pending your comfort level. We will go on adventures like the beach and pet store if you are ok with that and only socialize if that is what you would like and again are comfortable with. Also I have no problem sharing my bed or yours with your pooch🥰 I will leave your home in better condition than when you left it if it is a house sit, drop in, or dog walk. I’m trusted with anything and everything except chocolate chip cookies and corvettes.
