Dogs that Board with me must be very friendly and socialized. They must be completely non aggressive dogs and love being around other dogs. All Dogs must be up to date on their Rabies and Bordatella Vaccines and have a Flea and Tick Preventative applied at least 24 hours in advance of boarding. I always have you come over for a meet and greet in advance. There are all kinds of breeds and all kinds of personalities and some dogs do better in their own home environment and I will go there for a complimentary meet and greet. I Love all breeds of dogs and cats and I treat each and everyone of them with respect and I will love them for the precious individual that they are. My Safety Plan includes: They will be taken on neutral ground and be introduced in a relaxed and safe setting watching for body language at all times. If for any reason they don’t get a long I have a barrier gate for separation until they do or a separate floor area in my Tri-Level Home. All smaller dogs are separated from larger ones by a barrier gate during the night. During playtime and potty breaks no dog is unsupervised and I have a well secured privacy fence. In the event of an unknown emergency a pet owner is contacted while I’m in route to the animal hospital. All Pet Owners are required to fill out a Boarding or Pet Owner Profile and this tells me everything I need to know in order to provide the safest, most loving environment for your Pet while your away.
