I take care of paws & claws both in the UP & Ruskin Florida. I have a lot of experience as I volunteered for UPAWS and walked dogs and took care of cats. I do not pack walk and I do not take on multiple dogs from different families at the same time. Your fur baby is the center of attention while I am here or there. I started this business because I had a Shih Tzu rescue and I could not find a pet sitter that I could trust to watch her when I went out of town. Above all else, I want to have an affordable option that provides the highest quality of care because I have a true passion for animals. I want to be that go-to person for check-in visits, walks, and overnight and extended stays. I have been trained by the U.P. Dog Whisperer whose philosophy is positive reinforcement. I use positive reinforcement for your fur baby. I have been trained to help dogs learn how to sit, stay, lay down, walk, give me a paw, turn over, etc. I have volunteered at UPAWS, a no-kill shelter, where I walked various dogs. I have worked at Petsmart taking care of cats and adopting them out. I have fostered many cats. I have worked with many breeds and many frightened animals. I have administered various types of oral medications. I have been asked to dog sit while the family has gone on vacation. I have owned and worked with animals for more than 30years. Why I love dog /cat sitting: I also had a dog that had litters of puppies that I raised until old enough to have a loving home or into adulthood. I have had as many as two adult dogs and five puppies. I have also had as many as five adult dogs. I have been trained and have lots of experience with my own and other's dogs. I have also fostered many cats through UPAWS and set up appointments to come see them for possible adoption. My experience administering medication: I am comfortable administering oral medication. I have not been trained to do injectables but am willing to do it if you will show me how and you are comfortable with me doing so.
