Linda was warm and welcoming from beginning to end, making us comfortable about leaving our pet in her care. Our JRT Betsy had a wonderful time with Linda and her family (not to mention the goats and chickens!) and we appreciated being kept updated with notes and photos each day. We're thankful to have found Linda and are happy that Betsy has a home away from home.

Linda is absolutely wonderful! She keeps us updated during the stay, and it is apparent that Mason enjoys his time there. As soon as we turn into the neighborhood, he gets so excited! He loves playing in the yard with the other dogs and watching the goats, and Linda does a fantastic job of making sure the group is a good fit. We could not be happier to have found someone who takes the best ...

Smaller breed, senior/special needs

Your smaller dog will love staying on my completely fenced, suburban farm where he or she will have plenty of secure space to romp outside and lounge on the sunny deck or relax on a comfy sofa in my air-conditioned home. I am home all day, so your dog will have undivided attention. Your senior dog will enjoy doddering about the farm, sniffing and exploring, greeting the chickens and goats at the fence and sleeping ...

What Linda would like to know about your dog

I would like to know if your dog is dog-aggressive so I could avoid meeting other dogs during walks. I would also want to know what level of exercise your pet needs, i.e. high- or low-intensity. Please let me know of any special considerations you would like me to know about your pet. I have a special place in my heart for Shiba Inus but love all dogs (and animals, for that matter!) I can walk and visit any size dog; However, because my rescue Pomeranian insists on being the alpha, I can only provide boarding care in my home for dogs that are small and submissive, They must also be rock-solidly housebroken with no marking behaviors. Otherwise my little fur guy will frantically mark all over my house! Your dog must also be good with cats. I would require a meet-and-greet in my home to see if your pet is a good match for our home situation. I also require that your dog be on a flea prevention program because I live in a rural area and want to ensure your dog does not go home with fleas or ticks! I teach music part-time at home, so am home all day and can give your pet lots of time and attention. We will also go out on walks and play in my large and secure fenced back yard.
