I have an old blind deaf doxie that has only had me and one other dog sitter her whole life. I was nervous that she wouldn’t be calm or be scared. Linda is amazing and has a dream location for animals. I think Mia is on vacation, herself, also. Linda is kind and patient with all her doggies.

Linda did an absolutely wonderful job of taking care of my furry baby! Her home and yard is like a dog's dream ... like a beautiful bed and breakfast for dogs. My Jazzy loved romping with her furry friends around the gorgeous big fenced backyard with adjacent chickens, goats, a rabbit, and the sweetest pig ever named Harley. I am thrilled that I found her and will continue to bring my baby over there. Linda is ...

Smaller breed, senior/special needs

Your smaller dog will love staying on my completely fenced, suburban farm where he or she will have plenty of secure space to romp outside and lounge on the sunny deck or relax on a comfy sofa in my air-conditioned home. I am home all day, so your dog will have undivided attention. Your senior dog will enjoy doddering about the farm, sniffing and exploring, greeting the chickens and goats at the fence and sleeping ...

What Linda would like to know about your dog

I generally require a meet-and-greet before I accept a boarding request to ensure that my home is a good fit for your pup. I assess how your dog gets on with my senior dog Zig, my two cats, and how your dog reacts to the farm animals who are kept separate in the pasture. We discuss feeding, sleeping, and other routines that will make your dog feel comfortable here. I can walk and visit any size dog; however, because my rescue Pomeranian insists on being the alpha, I can only provide boarding care in my home for dogs that are small and submissive. They must also be rock-solidly housebroken with no marking behaviors. Otherwise, my little fur guy will frantically mark all over my house! I also require that your dog be up-to-date on vaccinations and on a flea-prevention program because I live in a rural area and want to ensure your dog does not go home with fleas or ticks! I teach music part-time at home, so am home all day and can give your pet lots of time and attention. We will also go out on walks and play in my large and secure fenced back yard.
