I am a loving experienced dog owner having recently lost our boy after 13 years🐾 we have decided to continue dog boarding. I live with my husband who assists with morning walks and daily routine. He was brought up with dogs as part of his family so is very experienced in caring for them. We generally only ever board one guest dog at home (Or one pair of guests if 2 dogs from the same family) This ensures happy dogs who are settled and able to find their own space and comfort. Should we consider more than one guest at busy times it will be with the knowledge and blessing of all owners. I have a goodsized home with a fully enclosed dog friendly rear garden. I am able to provide various sleeping options to suit all dogs to ensure they settle quickly. I am happy for guest dogs to sleep upstairs to feel close to their new family, however encourage all guests to sleep in their own beds/mats. I am able to offer an individual sleeping space for up to 2 dogs away from my own boy and never expect guest dogs to share. Our home is based near 2 local parks and numerous wooded areas for interesting walks. I also participate in a social dog walking group so all dogs can benefit from socialisation with new dogs. I have a selection of lead lengths that I use and will always liase with owners regarding walking their dogs on or off lead (however, owners decision is final) I am able to collect dogs (additional charge may apply.) and have a large people carrier with 2 crates in the boot if necessary. We usually ask for dogs to attend with their usual food and supplements, as well as their bowl to maintain normal feeding routine. We always ask about treats or any additional foods before providing. We are both about to administer oral medication and supplements as required. All dog boarding is for a period of 24 hours, early drop off and late collection may incur additional daily rates. Christmas/New Year Bank holidays are £10 per day extra per booking.
