Love to care for your fur-friends!

Pet care experience

I started pet sitting for a very large fur baby family 10 years ago when their owner would go on extended vacations out of the country. I took care of 2 dogs, 5 cats and 2 chickens every day. The one dog was a 95 lb. Great Pyrenees, the other a blind shitzu in hospice care. All of the animals were kept to strict walking/feeding times, most of which also received vitamins and or medicine and brushing twice a day. When we could we would FaceTime with their mommy. I would take the Great Pyrenees dog for very lengthy walks! Now the current dog I care for is a sweet beagle boxer mix. I just stayed with her in Reston for the past three weeks and it was such an enjoyable, lovable experience!

Linda was very friendly and did a great job watching our pups! One of our dogs is aggressive and even he warmed up to her very quickly. We got several updates and pictures and had an overall great experience!

I am a licensed veterinary technician and I had a cat with IBD. While caring for my mother in D.C. I desperately needed a sitter that could pill my kitty and administer other meds to help with her IBD. Cats are not easy to medicate and I went through 8 sitters until I found Linda. She walked through my door that 1st day we met and she handled my cat as a professional would and easily administered all medications. Linda is very detail oriented and very precise when it comes to following instructions for my pets. No matter how many times medications or prescription foods were changed to adjust my cat's illness, Linda was always able to make the changes and never missed a day and she never made any medication errors. Linda is very dependable and anyone who hires her as a sitter can have the peace of mind as I did knowing your pet is in very capable hands. Because of Linda and her good medicating in my absence, my cat is now healthy and free of IBD issues. The best part about Linda caring for my cat is that when I would arrive home from D.C., my cat always had a peaceful expression on her face. There was no "panic face" like I have seen in the past when I have had to board her at a clinic. AND, she was a dream for me to pill which tells me Linda did an exceptional job medicating my cat. I cannot express how important this is to me that I know my cat was so good with Linda that my cat was easy for me to pill. She just didn't anticipate a struggle at all. Linda was so good to my kitties and she is such a professional pet sitter. I will always rebook with Linda!

Linda is an excellent dog sittier! She has come to the rescue for me on many occasions including my impromptu trip to Europe. I wouldn't trust anyone else with Mr. Snuggles!

I am a morning person, so I will wake up whenever the dog does. I can start the day off with brushing and food. Then we can go on walks through downtown or can go on walks through any beautiful parks.

My schedule is currently very flexible. I am self-employed, and the only time that I have a strict schedule to follow is when I have music gigs with my band. I’m very upfront and honest about when and what times I would be there so we can decide quickly if I’m the right fit for your pet sitting needs.
