Love all animals like my own

Pet care experience

I have been walking and loving on dogs at the Humane Society for 7 years. I have taken shelter dogs to training classes for basic obedience and AKC Good Citizen. I use click and treat to reward good behavior, like sitting on command and walking nicely on leash. I started out walking a neighbor's pet for free and now dog walking is my preferred form of exercise. It keeps me from becoming a "couch potato"! My cats are my children. They follow me around the house and bring me toys when they want attention. I have adopted five kitties over 35 years. Sabrina was adopted 2 years ago. She was so frightened of "everything" that she would bolt at the slightest sound. Today she is serene and accepts hugs and kisses without objection. Retirement allows me plenty of time to pet sit or to walk your dog. I enjoy the time with your pet each and every time. Weekends, weekdays or holidays are all good! This is not a service that I provide because I have 2 cats. In my experience, cats and dogs don't mix well, and so I don't attempt boarding.

Linda did a wonderful job watching our Wally. I was grateful that she was free (kind of a last minute get-away weekend) and she was also very willing to come back after she had left on Sunday to walk Wally an additional time before we got home later than we originally t planned.. We walked back home and it was like we had never left. It was seamless. She sent some fun pics of Wally while we were away. You were terrific Linda!! We look forward to having u watch Wally again. ♡

Linda had strong communication and followed my instructions to a tee. She did a great job with my senior boy and my young energetic girl! I’ll book her again 100%.

Most care takes place in the client's home. I walk dogs 2 or 3 times a day, depending on their usual routine. I take dogs that I've brought home for long walks. They need to be socialized for interaction with my cat. Only calm animals are invited into my house. Only one dog at a time.

Information Linda C. would like to know about your pet

How old is the pet? Any medical issues? Is the pet good with other dogs? How does the pet parent reward good behavior? Preferred treat? I love all breeds of dogs, but am partial to pit bulls. They are smart and sweet!

A typical day

I love playing fetch and can play a mean game of tug-of-war. All walks will take place near your home, but can vary from 20 minutes to 1 hour.
