DogMom EGR: Play, Walk, Feed, Love

Pet care experience

20+ years of caring for dogs, cats, birds, frogs and the occasional snake or owl. I’d love to care for, exercise, and/or entertain your furry, scaly, slimy, or feathered family members. Daily drop-ins for, potty breaks, play and feeding, all-weather walks or dog park visits, and small dog overnights can be arranged. I only board one dog at a time so your pup will her the personal attention it deserves. My experience includes cat and dog (not at the same time!) ownership, dog and cat sitting, and several years of daily dog walking, puppy training, and day care for a local clent. My pup and I are Puppy 101, Intermediate Obedience, and Trick Dog training graduates and are happy to share our know-how with you and your dog/s. Safe car harnessing is used for pet transport, as field trips to interesting places are my specialty. I look forward to meeting you and your family!

Linda is one of the most thoughtful, caring, and responsible individuals I know. As a dog owner herself, she demonstrates exceptional patience, gentleness and compassion for not only dogs, but all animals. Plus, she genuinely enjoys the companionship and playfulness that pets provide. You can rest assured that any pet in Linda's care will be nurtured, engaged and protected.

Linda has been a trustworthy dog walker for my dog Polo 4 times a week and after getting to knowvPolo she and her husband decided to have a Havanese puppy of their own and Polo and Moshi are good friends... Linda is reliable, kind and I enjoy our friendship... Without hesitation I recommend Linda for a job with rover.com Twink Frey

Safety, trust & environment

I have a small home with a fenced-in back yard for potential play with my own 14-pound Havanese pup, Mochi. Your dog would be introduced to Mochi gradually and systematically, if you choose that option, to assess compatibility and comfort for all. Dogs in day-care or boarding must be crate trained, medicated for fleas and ticks, and have all shots up-to-date. Dogs are supervised at ALL times (unless crated for the night) and never put into an unhealthy or unsafe situation. My home has baby gates to keep pets in safe zones, as needed.

Home

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Linda C. would like to know about your pet

Small to medium dogs are my favorites, and getting to know the personal preferences of your pet is part of the job. It’s helpful for me to learn about your dog or cat’s training level, favorite toys and treats, and how best to show your pet love and affection. NOTE: Any pet accepted for services must be up-to-date on vaccinations, flea prevention treatment, and other pet-dependent healthcare requirements. Proof of above must be provided for any day-care or boarding services.

A typical day

Field trips to parks, trail hikes, and open spaces are my specialty. As a former educator, I understand the need for mental, physical, and social stimulation and I love to seek out new and exciting places to explore. A fenced-in back yard provides a closer to home option for running and playing.
