My work has required me travel a lot in the past, so I haven't been able to own a dog yet. To make up for it, I was a foster parent for the Seattle Animal Shelter while I was in school, and have since taken care of almost all of my co-workers' pets (and plants - which I also love). One day I'll have my own fur-baby, but until then I hope I can help you care for yours! When I'm with your dog, it's about giving him/her my full attention and care for the duration of our time together. I'd love to take him/her on a long walk or run; spending 30mins sniffing every bush on your street, playing fetch, or just cuddling. But for the time we're together, dog is #1.

Lina did an excellent job taking care of our dog and house. Lucy got lots of nice walks, we received great pictures, and when we returned, our house was cleaner than when we left.
Lina was amazing. Great communication and awareness of our doggo and our home. I would give her six stars if possible :)
Lina was absolutely awesome. She has a very calming manner with our 2 dogs, and was very perceptive and responsible. She sent us regular updates and photos through the week she helped out. Also took good care of our home, leaving it cleaner than when she started.
Lina doesn't deserve 5 stars - she deserves All of the stars! She went Above and Beyond personified as Chloe had a bout of diarrhea from almost the minute I left town. Lina proactively cared for Chloe, provided up-to-the-minute updates and was a perfect companion for Chloe in her time of need! Highly recommend Lina!!!

I have no preferences for breeds! I have watched pure breeds and rescues. I would like to know if your dog has any challenging habits or behaviors and all the ways you calm him/her. I'd also like to know in advance about your dog's daily routine and favorite treats and activities. I'll do my best to keep to that routine and your style of care-giving.
A typical day
If you live in the Wallingford area, you know that there are so many wonderful places for a dog to be a dog: Greenlake, Gas Works, the off-leash dog area in Woodland Park, Ravenna Park, etc. I love being outside in all weather and the only thing better is to be outside with a wagging tail. Wherever your dog(s) and I go, it's their time, not the human's time. I believe in letting them sniff as much as they want, chase balls forever, and be curious about the world as they wish to be within the bounds of safety. And for those sensitive dogs who hate being cold or in the rain, I'm just as happy pitching a few balls in the yard and coming right back inside for some cuddles.
