Pet care experience
I've raised two dogs in the past, a Boxer and Maltese, who I absolutely loved. From taking care of both a medium sized and small dog for over 10 years, I have gained much experience on handling two very different types of dogs. The energy level of both my Boxer and Maltese were extremely high, so I used to walk and run with them for several miles a day. I live an extremely active lifestyle so my normal routine involves at least two walks a day (usually, I'll walk for a total of 3-4 miles a day around my neighborhood by myself). My current living situation prevents me from adopting another dog, so there's nothing I'd love more than to meet and care for other dogs throughout my day.

Lina did a great job watching my dog Buster! He gets nervous around new people but she was very patient with him and he warmed up very quickly. I received lots a pictures during my time away and couldn’t tell Buster was having a great time.
Lina was fantastic with my older rescue pup. He was immediately comfortable with her and she clearly had experience with a variety of dogs. She was flexible, had great communication and was super friendly. We will be happy to rebook!
This was our first experience with rover, and Lina made sure to give us a detailed report on how it went. She seems like she was able to read our pup really well and kept us updated throughout the day. Overall a good first experience, she was very responsible and communicative. Would highly recommend Lina.

I have a backyard that is big enough for dogs to walk and play around in. I also have a pet friendly home, since dogs come over so often. I make sure to secure a safe environment for the dog and ensure a comfortable space for dogs to sleep, play, and rest.

I would like to know a pet's normal energy level and how often the dog is usually walked. I do not have any breed preferences and am open to meeting all kinds of dogs!
A typical day
I will go on walks throughout my neighborhood; there is a cement paved trail free of trees and bushes that is about a mile long. My neighborhood is quite spacious, pet friendly, and has lots of free grass area. There is also a dog park about a mile away; usually, there aren't many dogs there but the large grass area is fenced off safely and far away from streets/any care traffic.

Availability
Within my weekly routine, I usually am available to watch dogs, unless I am going hiking on weekends. I make sure to set each dog I am watching as priority and love to give my full attention to them. Being on Rover is like a reward for me, since I love dogs so much, but just can’t have one myself since I am away on trips for periods of time.
