Your dog deserves a vacation w/ us!

Pet care experience

Many clients said they send their furry babies to us for a well deserved vacation! My husband Sebastien and I moved to Fair Oaks in summer of 2022. While we missed all the human and furry friends we had in the Bay Area, we are also very excited to meet new ones. We LOVE all pets, however at the moment we don’t have any of our own. We only board one dog at a time so she/he is going to get 100% of our love and attention. We only consider 2 dogs at a time if they are from the same family, they love each other and are below 30 lbs/each. Have worked with many different breeds, we are comfortable boarding, walking, feeding, giving medicine, playing, caring and cleaning after them. We both are active community members and have volunteered at many different places including Lytton Gardens (senior living), the Nine Lives Foundation (cat shelter), Chung Tai Zen Center, Garden to Table, teaching in Romania, Silicon Valley Volunteers, Food Banks, Fair Oaks Chicken Festival, Sac County Holiday Toy Drive, etc. We both work from home now, so we are more available than ever to provide the best care for your dogs. Please it’s important to note below: 1, We only board one at a time. He/she is going to get 100% of our love and care, guaranteed! 2, We follow owners’ guide 100% so they don’t go home with new habits, or need to be trained again. 3, We don’t ever given them human food or dog treats unless specifically told or brought by owner. For example some parents would tell carrots and apples are ok to give, etc. 4, We make sure all dogs get the same amount or more exercise with us. For active and energetic dogs, we provide at least 2 walks per day, go to the parks and river beaches on the weekends; for smaller and homey ones, we like to cuddle and play with them whenever they want. 5, We live in a 4 bedroom single family house with a fenced yard (tall fence). Dogs are always welcomed to the yard for businesses and play time, however they will never be left in the yard unattended. There is no kids, no roommates, and no other pets in the house. 6, We don’t let all dogs we take care of to interact with any other dogs. Always cross the street while encountering one on walks because we just never know the chemistry between them and how other dogs behave. 7, No dog parks due to unknown risk. 8, Owner please specify if it’s OK to be off leash in permitted areas only when in parks and by the river. We normally don’t do that. We have only done that on the ocean beaches with pups who have excellent recalls and pups who have been staying with us for years. 9, Once in a while we might leave the dog home on weekends up to 4 hours. If your dog isn’t trained to stay home alone or do so in a new environment, please discuss with us in advance. We are happy to accommodate, we just need to know in advance so we can avoid any social engagements. Owner please provide everything needed for the stay including food, snacks, and treats. We have a dog bed/blanket in each room (no need to pack a bed if your pup isn’t too particular about it). No need to bring bowls unless she/he is particular. 😄 We look forward to meeting you all! More notes: If you have specific requests for example how many updates, pictures, and videos a day you would like to receive, please let us know ahead of time and we’ll be happy to accommodate. Otherwise you will receive at least two updates per 24 hours. We both have our full time jobs in tech (engineering & finance), and we both work from home. It’s our passion to love and care for furry babies. We welcome feedback, and it’d be great if you would like to leave us a review afterwards. No issues at all if you don’t get around to it. We won’t ask for one. 😸🐶🐻‍❄️🐷

We love Lin and Sebastian! Our puppers get great attention, plenty of walks and cuddles, and we get many updates and pictures. This review is based on their 3rd stay. We are lucky to have their help and care!

Lin and Sebastian were one of the few people who only watch 1 dog at a time and don’t charge an absurd amount. Their home was very nice and dog friendly with gates to make sure the pups can’t get out. Dexter took to them right away and seemed to be very comfortable being there which is hard for him since he’s only ever been away from me 2x in 10 years. He really enjoyed being there and I would highly recommend them if you need somewhere for your pups to stay.

Lin is absolutely amazing! Our dog Nala remembered her from the last time Lin watched her. When we arrived at their house for drop off, Nala started getting excited and when she saw Lin, she was so happy. We had an unfortunate last minute change of plans and Lin was so understanding and accommodating. We will continue to use Lin when we need a trust sitter for Nala.

Dogs are always fastened with a dog seatbelt on the backseat of our Outback when we take them out. We have tall fenced yard, and we don’t let dogs in the yard unattended. Please let us know if your dog is OK to be off leash when we go to the beach or dog friendly hikes. We eat twice a day without snacking during the day, therefore there is no human food or snacks laying around the house. We do dishes right after we eat.

Love them all. Prefer big dogs over ~60lbs not to be on furniture or sleep in our bed with us. We are totally happy for small and med size ones to sleep in bed with us if they do so at home. We totally understand each dog behaves differently when meeting new people. Normally we ignore them at first, no eye contact, and let them to come close or sniff us. It’d be awesome if owner can tell what’s the best way to approach your dog when we meet the 1st time to ensure safety and calmness.

A typical day

We take out dogs at least 5 times each day, with 2 long walks. My husband and I play fetching during weekdays , and go hiking and go to the river beach with them on weekends. We don’t go to dog parks due to the unknown risk.

Some sort of mental stimulation in the afternoon, and one more longer walk or fetching/playing in the afternoon/evening. Timing will be dependable on temperature. Last potty break is between 10 to 11pm before bed. Playtime is available throughout the day.
