My husband and I live on a half acre with our two dogs, Barkley and Hermione, just south of Sunriver by the Deschutes. Barkley is a rescue dog, likely some type of cattle dog mix and he is 8 years old. He gets along with all dogs and loves to socialize. Hermione is a german shepard/border collie/queensland heeler mix, she loves to play with other high energy dogs. I work part time and my husband is a teacher, so we have lots of time off to explore the outdoors with our pups. We moved to Bend one year ago from Seattle, and our dogs miss socializing at the Seattle dogs parks so we like to host a couple dogs on our days off! We live on a 1/2 acre with a fully fenced yard, with a smaller area fenced as well if a dog prefers their own space. We keep our younger dog outside during the day as she loves to play fetch and chase squirrels, but our older dog spends most of the day snoozing inside. We take our dogs on daily exercise including walks, hikes, mountain bike rides etc, please let us know what activity your dog likes best! We have a cat that gets along with all dogs as well.
