I have been a dog owner and dog lover since my early childhood. When I went to university, my best friend and I rescued an 8 week old beagle mix. He pooped in my car on the way home, and I loved him with all of my heart ever since. He taught me how to care for a dog. He had a lot of energy, which meant constant walking, going to the dog park once a day, and getting creative with playing. He gave me a schedule to stick by each day. He taught me patience, loyalty, and how to love dogs even more (and I didn't think that was possible). I will bring this same sense of responsibility, enthusiasm, patience and loyalty to all dogs.
