Our 2 labs had a great time when they boarded with Lily for 2 days. Lily kept us updated with lots of pictures.

Lily is the best! We are new the the area and this was our first time leaving Ronnie since we moved. I was so nervous about finding a place for him, especially during a holiday week. Lily clearly knows how to care for dogs and sends lots of photo updates, which helped us feel comfortable and able to relax during the time apart from our pup.

July 2019 to May 2020 Calendar UPDATED.
My Vacation Dates:
August 14-18 2019
April 12-18 2020
I’m a stay at home dog mom (lol) with a ton of hands-on experience and have seen it all when it comes to dogs! I worked in a doggy daycare, supervising more than 25 dogs at a time, and have been a pet-sitter for several years in my past. I ...

What Lily would like to know about your dog

I don’t have preferences on dog breeds, but I do schedule a half daycare to observe how your dog behaves and see if s/he has any anxiety or separation issues we need to address. I strive to keep our home relaxed and it is important that the dogs get along. I find that these sessions providing the time necessary for me to make sure this is a good fit for both of us and to answer any questions you might have!
Is your dog crate trained?
Does your dog have anxiety? None, mild, moderate, or severe?
Is there something your dog isn't allow to have or do?
Do they have allergies?
Is your dog aggressive?
Any triggers?
Are they trained?
Do they know basic commands?
Are they UTD on their vaccines?
DA2PP or DHLPP?
Bordetella?
Canine Flu shots?
Rabies?

IF YOU HAVEN'T BOOKED WITH ME BEFORE PLEASE NOTE WE MUST DO A EVALUATION BEFORE FURTHER DAYCARE AND OR BOARDING IS PROVIDED. The Assessment is $40 for 6 hours we go over questions and answers. You must leave them for us to observe and you will still get pictures and videos sent to you during their evaluation! If you are unable to leave them or take into consideration for my assessment. I won't accept your dog(s). Also the assessment fee is NON-REFUNDABLE whether your fur baby passes or not.
Tues & Thurs EVALUATION scheduled times is between 9 am -10 am or 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm. No other exceptions.
There is also applications and liability contract to be filled out when you come for the evaluation/assessment/meet & greet.
Rover doesn't cover each parties for meet and greet. After accepted and booked you'll be covered by Rover. There's a reason for the small fees applied through booking. If this is something you DON'T feel comfortable doing. Then we aren't a fit and don't need to proceed furthur for meeting and greeting one another. Thanks for the understanding.

I DON'T ACCEPT DOGS THAT ARENT FIXED AFTER 9 MONTHS OLD. I HAVE SEEN INCREASING AGGRESSION DUE TO THE HORMONES, TERRITORIAL, & DOMINATING TRAITS. THESE ARE REASONS MALES AND FEMALES WHO ARE STILL INTACT CAUSES A FIGHT BECAUSE THIS IS IN THEIR NATURE AND HOW THEY BEHAVED. THIS ALSO MAKES TRAINING EVEN MORE DIFFICULT FOR SOME DOGS.
(REPEATING FOR MORE DETAILS)
Please note we do EVALUATE your dog(s) before being accepted into daycare and boarding. This process will take 6 hours long. We go over questions and answers and see how they do in our environment as well as how they get along with our puppies. And any signs of behavioural issues that can arises. You must leave them with us for 6 hours for $40 so they can adjust, play, get familar with the environment, and for us to see if we are a fit for them and vice versa. I will also let you know their level of anxiety (shaking or trembling) and if they have separation anxiety. We also help accommodate those that needs socializing after past incidents such as dogs who were attacked or not used to dogs and people in general. Socializing dogs is a KEY factor in being able to have a round socialized dog who can be out in public anywhere that is dog friendly. If you just got a puppy PLEASE introduce them to 100 different dogs and people before 5 months of age. Hats, sunglasses, uniforms, different ages, and etc. You can go to Home Depot, Eastridge, and Valleyfair or Santana Row.

We don't accept aggressive dogs. We don't take intacted dogs unless you have a valid vet's confirmation for medium to large breed to have them fixed between ages 12 to 18 months old. I will only recommend them getting fixed if they attend here after showing example signs of being aggressive and or super humpy. They can't control being humpy! That's their hormones. Reasons for humping can be excitement, dominating another dog, anxiety(stress), and or hormones. They won't be interested in playing. Aggression can happen due to many factors. They're in the same household with other intact dogs (more frequent with males). This usually occurs between ages 6 months and 9 months. HENCE WHY MY FIRST PARAGRAPH READS AFTER 9 MONTHS I DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT DOGS NOT FIXED. It is genetic. This is mostly in common with dogs whose breeders or back yard breeders that breeds for quantities over quality. Temperament. And I've seen in more in GSD and Huskies as of lately because lack of training. These 2 breeds are working class and they need to be simulated and learn. There are exceptionally excellent bully breeds out there. I have worked and helped rehabilitated pits in the past. Be EDUCATED about dogs. Any breeds can be aggressive. Example happened to my son. He was riding on his scooter on the way home from school with his friend when a small white fluffy cute little maltese poodle mixed dog ran after him and attacked and bite my son's leg. We did report to Animal Control already and that dog has already bite a family member in the house, but nothing has been done about it. Dogs can be triggered by many factors whether provoked or not. Trained dogs who have been worked with CONSISTENTLY at home 15-45 mins a day works wonders. Learn the 5 basics commands and basic manners. We don't take female who are in heat. Please get them spayed asap after their first or second heat. Whichever your vet recommends. Medium and Large breeds needs their growth plates to be closed. There has been more studies showing issues with early spayed and neutered pets. But unless there is behavioral issues like I've mentioned they will need to get fixed. Males hormones take 6-8 weeks for their testosterone level to subside. Make sure the surgery is successful by requesting a testosterone test 3 months after being neutered please!

This is our home where all my regulars comes to enjoy their home away from home. Not to deal with dogs who behaves badly. Not dogs who puts others at risk. This is why for many reasons listed aboved I have set my preferences for fixed dog(s) only. It's takes a lot of time to see some rising behaviors in dogs when they're away from home and owners. And how they act differently with us and our dogs. Thank you for taking the time to read our entire profile! I wish you the best of luck in finding a excellent sitter for your fur baby! Enjoy your day! :D

About Lily's Home

When Lily watches your pet

My home is cleaned daily. Toys, treats, blankets, and beds are provided and washed. We use Tide Free & Gentle detergent. I also provide bowls and wash them twice a day after each feeding. So please just bring enough food during their stay and their leash!! The dogs’ day is filled with dedicated time for playing, relaxing and extra cuddles. Socializing is a priority and we venture out for walks around my neighborhood, Communication Hill, Martial Cottle Park, Home Depot, Eastridge, and Valleyfair malls. This of course factors in how your dogs does before deciding on whom to go. We have a generous sized, fenced-in back yard with faux grassy area and dedicated spaces for the pups.

The treats here are gluten, corn, and soy free. I also like to add rice to kibbles if the dogs are finicky eaters. Helps their stool as well. I do have ice cube trays of frozen yogurt either strawberry bananas and or blueberries. Their breath will be fresh so no stinky breath woohoo! (Additives is only added into their water twice a day morning and night and water changes 5 times a day or more and refilled for fresh access water) Our water we give is FILTERED no water from TAP. City tap water is yucky!
I have about 12+ dog beds and 20 blankets and over 6+ bowls. We have outdoor toys and indoor stuffed toys.
