Pet care experience
I genuinely love getting to know animals and caring for them. Rover is my fun side job, but I take it very seriously. Our pets are our family and they deserve to be treated with care and respect. I am always down for a meet and greet before booking a stay or any long-term service. It's important for me to build trust, so that you and your furry/hairless family know you can count on me. I have plenty of experience with nervous animals, picky eaters, and diet restrictions, my own dogs checked all of those boxes. I took time away from Rover to care for them in their final years, but I am looking forward to starting again.

Lily is communicative, thoughtful, and an absolute cat whisperer!! They were attentive to our requests/instructions, and were really great with Sunday despite her usually being a very shy, very picky cat. They even came back after leaving to spend a little extra time with Sunday, which we appreciate immensely—that extra care and effort are so rare and wonderful! We are stoked to have had our pet so well cared for and our home looked after with such kindness :) We would absolutely have Lily look after our girl again!
Brisco clearly had a great time and was not stressed at all. Lily sent wonderful updates and checked with me to make sure everything was alright during the hand off. Absolutely will use Lily again and again!
Lily was great!! She sent us photos and updates every day, and our fur babies always looked happy with her. We have a high energy mini Aussie, and Lily was great at wearing her out with lots of indoor and outdoor play time. Our shy kitty also warmed up to Lily quickly. I would highly recommend Lily, and hope I hope she will be available for our next trip!

Safety and trust are a big priority. I know how hard it can be to leave pets for a long period of time and trust a stranger with their care. I will make every effort to keep your pet safe. I always lock doors and windows, avoid other people/animals on walks, and keep the house tidy. I never bring guests into the house and would ask for permission to take your pet anywhere other than for a walk in the neighborhood.

A typical day
Every activity outside of your home will be on a leash. I usually walk in the neighborhood away from busy streets, but if I have permission or a special request, we can go to the dog park or anywhere with a nice trail. Other than that, we’ll play around the house, relax, cuddle, and enjoy fine dining. All activities include pets and scratches :)

Availability
I work full time, but I’d be committed to caring for your pet outside of my normal work day (currently 10am-6:30pm). During stays, I can do walks before and after and never leave animals alone at night.
