Pet care experience
I am 19 and have been taking care of pets since I was a baby. We used to have a PBGV, Jacques, who I loved. I grew up with him, until I was about 16/17 and he was 18 when he passed. He was a great dog, and our family needed another. We grieved for a while but welcomed our Entlebucher Mountain dog, Strauss, into the family. He’s very outgoing, loves to chase his tail, and jump really high up in the air to catch his toys. He also loves tug of war, which is why we decided to get another dog. We had a lot of luck as we were looking for a rescue of the same breed of Strauss. We found Heinz and the same day we met him, we took him home. They love to play tug of war, go for walks, and overall being together. It’s amazing to realize how much our dogs love us. Heinz, when only having him for a week, was being trained to go outside and come right back and he did. Sometimes he would scratch on the door to let us know he was done. After his whole life of being in several families just to be taken back, he’s finally found the family and brother who needs and loves him. That is my experience personally with my dogs! In the past, I’ve also dog sat for a week at a family friends house, dog sat for my sister’s Husky, and dog sat for my sisters friend. :)

I’ve known Lily for 20 years. She is and always has been a respectful, responsible, and sweet girl. She has always loved pets, whether it be hers or mine when they come over for a visit. She is kind, caring, and nurturing and I know you and your pets will love her.
I am so grateful that I was able to find a dog walker as kind, loving, and responsible as lily. She is ALWAYS on time to pick up my fur baby for his walk and he is so excited to see her. Lily updates me with cute pictures of my dog and I know he is in the best of hands while they spend time together. Different people in my neighborhood have approached me letting me know how sweet she is. I am picky about who I let take my dog and I give Lily a 10/10. Personally for my dogs, I hook them up in their seatbelt and take them for a ride with a window cracked enough so they can feel a nice breeze! Every once in a while, I will treat them to a pup cup from Starbucks or bring home some of their favorite treats. I take them for walks around a local walking area or hikes along some of my favorite trails. At home, I like to play fetch with them which is fun watching them race each other to catch the ball!

Please let me know if your dog has any specific triggers, habits, or consistent behaviors I should be made aware of. For example, my rescue likes to jump on cars. I will need to know this information as I am liable for any damages. I would like to know if your dog is more comfortable is environments which are not overcrowded/ with a lot of dogs. Again, my rescue gets overwhelmed with a lot of people/dogs in one environment and it is my responsibility to make sure that you and your dog is comfortable. If your dog has habits of any sort that I should be aware of, regardless of how specific they may be, I will need to prepare for those circumstances. Thank you for understanding. I want to make you and your dog comfortable at all times.
A typical day
Weir Hill Trails or the North Andover Common are my two favorite places for walks. The areas and large and everyone is very friendly. As mentioned, my dogs, as well as many others, love their pup cups from Starbucks. I would also take them to get a treat there.

Availability
I am in classes currently from 10-1 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and from 9-12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am available to do pet care anywhere between 2-5 on MWF and from 1-5 on TTH:) I will be updating my schedule in this section as my semester changes as well as while I am on my breaks. I am not limited to weather conditions either unless it is unsafe for travel. That being said, I can do pet services in snow, rain, or shine:) Thank you for understanding these circumstances.
