I have grown up loving animals and showing them unconditional love. As a child I grew up with many animals. I lost my past dog to an incurable spine disease, so I know how important it is to show animals all the love you can before they pass on. Currently I have 2 yellow labs named Newton and Halley. Halley is almost 8 years old and has a lot of energy but is also quite gentle. Newton is still a puppy and full of energy. I also have my own dog named Rusty who is a gentle 3-year-old. I know how important it is to find someone who knows how to care for your pets and how scary it may be to trust someone you haven’t known long – my family has gone through it a lot. It is also nice to be able to have a single person to watch your pets that you know will love them like you instead of a place that boards many families and just locks them up in kennels. I can assure that your pets would not only get my attention, but my family would love to play with your pets and make sure they are having as much fun as possible and feel comfortable here. I have a unique set of skills that come from my experiences. I am on my third year of working at Eau Claire Animal Hospital and have been volunteering at the Humane Association in Eau Claire as well as in Dane County (Near Madison, WI). I graduated from UW-Madison studying psychology and neurobiology. Next year I will be attending Idaho State University for my DPT. I had wanted to be a vet my whole life and have since decided to find other ways to work with animals. At the animal hospital I work with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other exotic animals. These experiences allow me to work with not only cats and dogs, but other animals that you may need watched! It is safe to say I know what I am doing, and I am able to work with many animals with different needs. I am willing to board your pets, house sit, have daily daycare, drop-in to visit your pets, and walk your pets. I will offer your pets lots of love through playtime, walks, cuddles, etc. Additionally, I am willing to bathe your pets – includes a bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, brushing, and brushing their teeth, for a small fee based on the pet – the charge goes to buying the supplies to do so. I will also walk your pets, play with them throughout the day and send you updates in which include pictures of your babies! I will spend as much time as I can with your pets and my family is willing to help as we have all treated pets and seen a lot from our own pets. If I have anything planned, such as work for a part of the day, I will let you know when booking and allow you to meet anyone else who would watch them while I would be gone.
