Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs and adore spending time with all different sizes/breeds/personalities. I grew up with 3 dogs myself that were always very spoiled. I have endless experience with dog sitting and being around all sorts of dogs and cats! I have one cat of my own and he is a sweetheart. I work as a registered nurse and am off 4 days a week, so I have a lot of free time. I am doing this just to get to spend time with dogs since I don’t live with the ones I grew up with anymore. I am very flexible and willing to consider any type of doggy customer :) and would love to care for cats too! I love dog beach and going for walks so I am happy to take your dog on outings if desired.

Lily was our first outing with Rover and it was better than expected! She kept in touch, and was lovely. We will definitely use her again.
We really like Lily but our dogs LOVE Lily! We have used her a few times & will definitely use her again. She takes care of all their basic needs; watering, feeding, playing & walking and treats them like her own. It is obvious she really loves animals. The one special thing Lily has done for us is she sending us texts & pictures of the dogs while we were away. It was really sweet of her to take the time to let us know they were okay. Not sure the dogs missed us much because it looked like they were having a lot of fun with Lily!!

I am comfortable watching dogs in clients’ homes and will do what they think is best for their dog, whether that be taking them out on walks, letting them roam in the backyard, or simply playing indoors with their fur baby! I will keep a clean and safe environment for your pets and close supervision. I am also very willing to drive your pet to the dog park or beach and spend time there with them!

Some things I would like to know before I dog sit a new dog: How do they act around other dogs? How are they around new people/children in public? Any allergies? How does your dog behave in the car? At dog designated spots, do you let your dog off leash or keep them leashes the whole time?
A typical day
I know of several dog parks and would love to bring dogs to the park if the owner is okay with it. I love playing fetch with dogs or just running around with them, or laying down in the grass with them if they like to be lazy! I also love hiking with dogs and going to dog beach.

Availability
I work 12 hour shifts 3 times a week, and other than that I am pretty available! I love to take my dogs on long walks or to dog beach and keep them busy! As I said above, I’m doing rover just to get to hang out with dogs and take them out and about and get my doggy fix :)
