My pets are a part of me!

Pet care experience

I have worked and spent time on a farm since I was 6 years old. When my family got our dog and I spent much of my time training her and teaching her simple tricks. I would dog-sit, cat-sit, and horse-sit for my neighbors and friends. My whole life has been managed around proving the best quality and care for my own animals as well as other people's animals. For the majority of my life, my pet care was my daily routine. I would take care of my horse every day and come home to spend time with my dog. Proving the best quality of life to my animals and others is the most important aspect to me of caring for an animal. Much of my time is spent outside so I love to bring my pets with me outside and to expose them to the most abundant lifestyle. As well, many of my animals are getting older so I make sure to incorporate lots of time just loving on them and giving them a relaxing trusting space to be in with me. I always make sure to provide fresh water, food (healthy and nourishing), outside time, a clean coat and face, clean teeth, nails, ears, and a safe environment to live in. There is always a comfortable place for my pets to sleep, relax, or to sit with their owner when it is time for "chill time." I also make sure if my animals are outside or around the house that there is nothing they could get themselves in to endanger themselves such as cords, stairs, clothing, etc. At a clients home or home of a friend whose animal I am caring for I make sure to always clean the space the animals is living in and make sure everything looks comfortable and safe. I refill food and water regularly and try to give their pets something they might not get everyday. This may be a different type of stimulating exercise, new toys, or even just extra attention in forms of sleep, cleaning them, and giving them my undivided attention.

I can't care for my pets in my home, in others home I am aware of how the place was left so the pet stays safe and comfortable. I make sure they have food, water, and are happy!

Information Lilly C. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any specific/special needs or favorite activities ahead of time. It is my main goal to keep your dog as happy and content as possible, all while giving them a fun break in their day. I want to provide the best care for your dog so, if your dog needs any special care, medications, etc I would love to know.

A typical day

Spokane: A typical dog-day for me in Spokane involves nice walk down the Centennial trail through Kendal Yards. I love to spend the cozy days doing drop-in visits for the older dogs or for when it is too cold to be outside. I love the outdoors and want the best for each dog so I always am sure to accommodate each dogs wants and needs. From throwing a ball all day long in the park, sniffing flowers on a stroll, going for a run, or jumping the car for an adventure, I am there for it! Boulder: I live near a plethora of trails, hikes, lakes, and walking places that are fantastic for working out outside. I am runner and spend most of my times outside active on trails, this is one of my favorite things to bring my dog, and others dogs to do. Particularly I love the Mount Sanitas, Boulder Res, Wonderland Lake, Chautauqua trails, Bear and Green mountain occasionally, Coot Lake, and more. I will take toys to throw for the dogs outside and let them safely enjoy outside areas. I will also spend time with the dogs in calm settings and accommodate to their wants and needs specific to their age.
