FLEXIBLE HOURS MON-SUNDAY :) I am free to set my own work-from-home hours, so I base my Monday-thru-Sunday schedule around YOURS! I can board, pet-sit, drop-in and/or dog-walk any day of the week. Drop-off and pick-up times are flexible as well, depending on your schedule. I am also happy & willing to accommodate clients on (reasonably) last-minute notice.

No matter what, your dog’s comfort and safety come first: • The water bowl(s) are refreshed every hour (or as needed) • I own a secure doggy gate and extra doggy crate if dogs need quiet time/ personal space. My own dog is crate-trained & trained in all basic commands • All dogs are allowed on my bed and couch (unless you prefer yours not to). • Additionally, if your dog needs a bath – at your request, I am happy and able to scrub them in my tub (size regardless). Just bring their shampoo if they have sensitive skin! You can trust that any and all instructions you leave for me for your furry one will be followed with the utmost care.

Please inform me of: • any medical conditions your pet has. • Your pet’s treat, sleep and temperature preferences/ requirements! I’m happy to accommodate. • Your pet’s favorite play method (off-leash in a dog run? tug of war? Favorite toys?) • Outside triggers that might stress your dog (scooters, train noises, etc) • Any type of dog or person they might negatively react toward • Lastly, your little buddy’s favorite ways to be petted! (Belly rubs, chin scratches, lap cuddles… all are good w me!)
A typical day
I tailor the experience to you and your pet’s preferences, so it can include any of the following and more: • endless tummy rubs • longer walks (I’m more than happy to take a high-energy pup for a longer walk or a play day at a park pre-approved by you) • rewarding with occasional owner-approved treats You and your furry one can also count on a relaxing staycation inside my dog-friendly condo. As dogs are welcome on any furniture in my apt, including bed and couch, I’m more than happy to oblige if they simply want to snuggle (if they enjoy TV-watching, let me know!) For some indoor fun, my apt is big enough to accommodate even a big dog in a game of fetch or catch! If the owner approves, I also own a selection of treat-based dog puzzles that will exercise both your pooch’s brain and body! (Please feel free to bring any favorite toys or games your dog loves.) I also enjoy makeshift indoor games with dogs (such as hide-and-seek) — and the dogs end up loving them, too! Outside my apt, I also have an easily accessible and safely enclosed rooftop for the pooches to romp around, play fetch, and/or just sunbathe on.

No pet is too big or small for me! With years of rescue pet experience, I myself am a two-time/current dog owner with volunteer training in handling shelter dogs and cats of all sizes, ages and temperaments. I also have experience in walking shy, reactive, blind, and senior dogs. Outside professional pet care, I have sat for friends’ cats, Dobermans, Chihuahuas, toy poodles, Akitas, Huskies and pitbull hybrids. Currently, I own a neutered male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Picasso, who is crate-trained, super calm and super low-maintenance… I.e. more time devoted to your baby! Picasso also has no problem sharing his toys/space/beds and loves making friends of all sizes, ages and shapes! Additionally, from 2020 to 2022, I fostered two stray cats until they both found their forever homes.

Lillian took great care of my dog Peaches and she clearly had a blast while she was there. Lillian was very responsive and made sure to ask a lot of questions to ensure Peaches was getting the best care possible. Highly recommend and would definitely have Peaches stay with her again if I ever have to go away.
