Pet care experience
I am an Artist with a very flexible schedule. A few years ago I started doing pet sitting on the side and found it fed my pleasure of pet companionship. I don't come on strong; dogs read me as kind and caring and respond well. Growing up, our family had a dog (all the way through high school), but I haven't had a dog since so I miss the fun of interacting with dogs. Since I am also available to house sit at the same time as I pet sit, I have at least three regular customers plus others just for dog care. My customers have come to me by word of mouth through friends and family and are loyal to me - as I am to them.

I'm 5'2" and do not possess a low, commanding voice, so while I like larger breeds of dogs they tend to walk/tug me instead of me walking them. I love to get good run downs of how your dog behaves on the leash as well as any pertinent info about their feeding and walking schedule. Also if they have any idiosyncrasies as far as behavior and going to the bathroom.
A typical day
I love spending time outside so taking walks is one of the big reasons I like to pet sit. Generally we walk around the neighborhood or go to a nearby park. I enjoy playing fetch or tug of war with dogs as well.
