To begin, I am a young woman in my twenties and for twenty plus years, animals have played a significant role in my life, and in my family. I grew up with two dogs- a small shihtzu/maltese/poodle mix, and a golden retriever- and several cats through the years- currently, Kitty has been with us for 10 years. I love animals and respect them as family members and understand how important their care is when you can't be there. Fun fact: my family has also owned pygmy goats, chickens, and ducks through the years. At the moment, we do not have any of these animals, so our yard is open! Boarding: I often watch my sister's dog when she is away and am familiar with extra care that goes into an overnight stay such as: feeding times, multiple walks and playtime outdoors, and the feeling animals get when they stay in a foreign place. Walking: I'm a very active person in general and love being outside so dog walking is almost as valuable to me as it is for the dog. I'm a big advocate for picking up the poo and taking care of business, responsibly by making sure the business is thrown in a proper trash. I love the environment and wish to keep it nice and enjoyable for others by keeping plastic out of it. Drop In: If your animals need a little extra love during the day (for example: you have a long day at work) I'd be happy to stop in and help the animal stretch their legs, play with some toys, go outside (if they're an outdoor animal), or simply socialize for a bit. I, like you, am human and can be flexible, understanding, and am looking forward to talking and meeting your lovely furry family member! :)
