I have cared for animals for my entire life, ranging from fish and turtles to dogs and cats. Ever since I was a teenager, I have been entrusted with watching over others' animals on numerous occasions. I currently have two cats of my own, Charli and Sebastian, and have also lived with my partner in a home with 3 dogs, 4 cats, a rabbit, and a bird in the past. I live a very active lifestyle, so I feel comfortable walking dogs for longer durations (I have experience running with dogs, too), but can work with you to determine what is best. I am very good with written directions and like to ask a lot of questions to best care for your animals. I also enjoy taking photos with the pets and will have plenty of pictures and updates to share. My ultimate goal is to make sure your pet enjoys lots of tail wagging or purrs whenever I visit. I am a full-time Ph.D. student at CU Boulder, which means that my schedule can be flexible to suit the needs of you and your pets. I live in Boulder, so I am just a quick bike ride away! I generally am on campus between 9AM-4PM, but can change that in order to accommodate animal care. For example, if you live by the main campus, it would be easy to plan a mid-afternoon walk for your pup or visit for your cat. It is important for me to do a meet and greet before confirming a booking. This helps me ensure that the expectations are clear, including details regarding harnesses, leashes, routes, treats, medical conditions, emergency contacts (including a preferred vet in the area), and/or anything else that could affect your dog during a walk or visit. Additionally, I want to make sure that the pet is comfortable with me so that we can have the best experience possible.
