Pet care experience
I used to volunteer at an animal shelter when I was back in New York with a part time job. I would care for all the dogs that were at the shelter (all ages and sizes!) I also used to work at a fear free general practice for dogs and cats. I absolutely loved working there and gained so much knowledge about positive reinforcement and fear free handling. I also have a plethora of knowledge in being able to detect the urgency of problems some pets may experience and therefore can help guide pet parents towards an appropriate decision!

Since my dogs are dog reactive, I take each one out separately. We live in an apartment with a private entrance which makes it much easier for us with our dogs. I also always bring treats on walks and potty breaks as a training opportunity can always pop up.

I do not have any breed preferences, I do love ALL breeds. But I would like to know if a dog is reactive, anxious, fearful, or usually stressed around newcomers beforehand so I can be extra cautious and mindful of that. It is very important for me to know that so I can provide the best experience for the dog.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks that are away from busy streets. I understand that some pet owners live near busy streets but I will try my best and my hardest to keep them away from that. I love being able to take the furbabies out on walks near some grassy areas full of trees. I love running and jogging with the dogs as well, just so we can burn some of that energy off! If permitted by an owner, I know some dogs LOVE tennis balls therefore playing fetch is a given.

I work 4 days a week and I am available throughout the weekend and on Monday’s to care for your pets! I am also able to accommodate needs throughout the week as well if needed.
