Pet care experience
Is your dog an adventure dog, or is a couch potato? Either way, he/she'll love the attention I'll give! I host only one dog at a time and do not have any other dogs or children at home. My husband and I will make sure your dog is supervised at all times. I believe every dog is special and deserves loving attention! You'll also receive photo updates. I worked as a vet assistant for two years. I love all animals, big and small! I'd love to host your dog and make it a fun experience for both of us, whether that includes spending a half day hiking, playing in the park, strolling around downtown, or watching tv. If your dog can ride BART, the possibilities are even greater! My home has a small fenced yard (for quick potty breaks) but I live next to an open lot (big enough for a pony!- see photo). Our neighborhood is very walkable and close to many parks.

Lilia is a great friend of mine who watches my dog, Pierre, from time to time. It's clear that Lilia loves animals of all kinds, sizes, and temperaments. When Lilia watches Pierre, she is responsive, responsible, and always sends me pictures! Last time she took care of Pierre, they went to Cal day at UC Berkeley together and Pierre just loved it. He was exhausted when I picked him up. I'd trust Lilia to take care of Pierre and any other pets I may have one day!
Lilia loves dogs! She loves playing with them, taking them around the neighborhood (lots of parks and interesting smells) and gives them plenty of attention. She never leaves dogs unattended and makes sure they have everything they need.

Dogs of any size are welcome! However, we ask the following of all our canine guests: *Be up to date on all vaccines, including flea protection *Be house trained *Be able to sleep quietly at night ( at least 7 hrs), either in a crate or in a small room. *Be friendly towards people and cats. I have a cat in the house. She is a scaredy-cat and does not like being chased. *Being high energy is OK, but being well behaved in the house is a must. I am unable to accommodate weeknight stays except under special circumstances. That means a typical stay will typically be Fri-Sun or Sat-Mon. Boarding rate is for each 24-hr period.
A typical day
I live close to several parks, including Kennedy Park and Shorty Garcia, and a very walkable neighborhood. We're also a quick drive from Quarry Lakes, Coyote Hills, and Dry Creek, for doggies that want a bit more adventure!
