A meet and greet is a must to ensure that your furry friend and I are happy together and will have a great walk. All week: • Dog walking hours: 8:30am-11am, 3:30pm-6:30pm • Drop-in hours: 6am-8am, 12pm-2pm, 8pm-10pm I have been taking care of animals ever since I had my first dog (Chelsea) at 15 and my second rescue puppy (Honey Lou) at 17. Adding a rescue puppy to the family provided a certain set of challenges that might not be understood to anyone who has not cared for an abused animal. I have experience in animal introductions as well as making animals feel at ease when they are in unfamiliar environments. Earlier this year I was also able to find the owner of a lonely Rottweiler that ran up to me outside of my home. I was able to care for them during the day, introduce her safely to my dog, Chelsea, provide her with food, water, and toys while I searched and asked all over social media for the parent. Luckily I was able to find the parent within a few hours! Not only have I taken care of multiple dogs over the past 10 years, but I am currently a bunny mom to two indoor free roaming rabbits and have experience taking care of hamsters. I am a foster parent through The Rabbit Haven so I am always up to speed with the best rabbit care and small pet information out there! I know that owning pets is more than just keeping an animal alive, and understand that pets are just as much a part of the family as any one else in the household. I am experienced in administering medication to a variety of species of animals and will always do my research to provide the best care. Family pets deserve the best care and I strive to make sure that every animal under my care is treated like family and given the love and attention they deserve. I have just recently graduated from Wichita State University with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and am available to pet sit full time as I optimistically continue my job search. I live at home with my husband who is an engineer who works full time from home and am looking to help other families in the area as they struggle through these difficult times. I know it is difficult to work from home while taking care of children, and adding pets to the mix doesn’t help the stress so I want to be able to make sure that your pets are taken care of and that you do not have to worry if their needs are being met!
