Pet care experience
Our home is at the end of a quiet country road. (GPS is close but not quite accurate) We are on a wooded ten acre spot with no close neighbors. We are not near a major highway and there is nothing here to harm or alarm a guest. We have a large yard and miles of trails and country roads to walk. We have kept dogs for friends and relatives over the years, including some special needs dogs. We have left our dogs and cats with friends and relatives. We know what it is like to need a safe and friendly place to leave a pet. My husband works during the day and I work from home so there is always someone with our guests.

Lili wa amazing with our dogs. She sent us daily updates and pictures of them. One of them had a growth removed just prior to the stay. She kept it clean and gave him all his medication. The next time we need a sitter for them we will definitely be using her again.
Lili truly cares about the animals that she takes care of. We have been highly satisfied with her watching our dog that is elderly. It’s nice to be able to go out of town and not worry about how your pet is being treated. We highly recommend her!!

Our dogs are allowed on the furniture and we provide a ramp to give them access. We extend the same to our guest dogs UNLESS you ask us not to. We understand that some folks train their dogs to stay off the furniture and we will not interfere with that. We ask that there is a meet and greet before the first visit. This gives both people and dogs a chance to meet and make sure everyone is compatable. If, after meeting us, you do not feel comfortable with your dog staying with us, please don't worry; we will not be offended.

I can not keep Pit Bulls, Pit Bull Terriers, or American Staffordshire Terriers. Please understand that this is based on experience. I am not equipped to care for cats at all.
A typical day
When the weather is nice we spend as much time outside as possible. We have two enclosed decks and a small fenced area for outdoor lounging. In hot weather there is a wading pool. If we are inside, there will be potty breaks hourly. Until we are completely sure of your dog we will always have them on a lead when outside for their safety. At snack time and food time we seperate everyone unless they usually eat together.

There may be short stretches of time that no one would be with a dog but never more than two or three hours and not as a regular occurence.
