Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats for years. I could not bring my own cat with me when I moved to NYC, so I am looking to spend quality time with other clients pets while they are away. I have always had a special love for cats and their personalities. My friends and family always had me watch their own when they were away so I feel very comfortable with all types and ages.

Lilah was an incredible sitter for our cat, Dewey! She dropped by for 2 weeks and I could tell our cat was well taken care of when we got back from vacation. Even when Dewey had a few accidents, she was great with communicating and cleaning up. I would definitely recommend Lilah for your cats :)

It is important to know that I cat-sit for the majority. If there is a small dog that lives with the cat, I am comfortable with that. However, I prefer to mainly watch and care for cats as that is what I have grown up doing and most comfortable with. Ahead of time, I would just like to know their personality— if they’re friendly, or if they’re timid. Do they bite/scratch? I don’t mind feisty cats, but I just like to know beforehand so I can be prepared?
A typical day
I mainly watch cats. When I am with them I will play with them if that is something they enjoy— I usually bring some of my own toys with me. The great thing about cats is you can easily tell when they want to be alone or if they are in the mood to be social. I make sure to give them lots of pets if that is something they enjoy. I also love to give them treats if approved by the client!
