Pet care experience
Hi! Welcome to my page! I am currently booking existing clients and referrals! Ask about the referral discount! I am generally available for walks and drop-in visits M-F before 7:30 AM and after 6 PM with rare exceptions. Weekends are much more flexible. Like most of us, I grew up with pets. My parents worked in the animal welfare field, and I followed in their footsteps. I have two animal savvy kids (7y and 13y). We share our home with our French Bulldogs named “Sahiyah” and “Lovely”, bunny named “Tajo”, and our kitty “NIBRS” or “NyNy”. I started working with pet parents through Rover in April 2023 and the feedback I’ve gotten has been fantastic. It brings me so much joy to help people and their pets! I primarily work and live with domesticated animals (dogs, cats, pocket pets). I have some experience with exotics and livestock. With Rover, I have been booked for cats, dogs, guinea pigs, bunnies, birds, and reptiles! I have administered medications in liquid, SQ, and pill form, cared for mature and medically fragile pets, and have also provided support to pets and their parents during end-of-life transitions. I cannot wait to meet you and your critter(s)!

Lila was a fantastic drop-in sitter for our dog and cat! Could not recommend her enough.
I had a wonderful experience with Lila! She sent the CUTEST pictures and kept me updated about my 2 kitties the entire time. So lucky to have found her.

Let's meet up! I would love to hear everything about them from you! You know your pet(s) best. Are they sensitive to certain noises, items, people, or maybe there's a certain spot on their body where they don't like to be touched? I'd like to know their favorite things to do, treats, and toys.

Information Lila O. would like to know about your pet
Let me know your pet's likes and dislikes. Not just foods, but activities and things like people in uniform, hats, etc. Let me know about any known allergies and chronic health concerns. Please also let me know your dog's experience with other animals and children, how your dog responds to environmental stimuli such as car horns, wheelchairs, bicycles, vacuum, blender, wildlife, etc. and what helps to calm them when they feel stressed or anxious.
A typical day
If you live near a park, I am happy to walk there with your pup. Otherwise, we will walk through the neighborhood. To keep your pet safe, I typically avoid interactions with unknown people/animals unless you would like them to socialize while out. If you’re training and would like me to use certain words or do things a certain way, let me know.

Availability
I will try my best to help you with your last minute/emergency requests. First time using Rover? Here's my promo code for a discount! LILAO16257 *** Sorry, I do not currently offer overnight housesitting (in your home) or boarding/daycare (in my home) *** DROP-INS (30–60-minute visits in your home) I am generally available weekdays before 7:30 AM and after 6 PM. Weekends have more flexibility. When sending a request, Rover will only let you choose an exact time. Rover will also let you request the same time as someone else who has already booked or immediately before/after their booking. This is why I ask that you please give me a range of times that you are okay with so that I can let you know what’s works. Drop-ins are for a variety of species. Rover won't let you add anything except for cats and dogs so just let me know what you have, and we can figure out if it's a good fit. For all pets, drop-ins have two options, either 30- or 60-minute visits. During those times, I am happy to provide walks, food, water, medications, pets/snuggles, play time, etc. for your pet(s). In addition, if requested I will bring in mail/packages, turn lights on/off, take out the trash, launder soiled pet items, and anything else I can fit inside of your chosen timeframe. I have no problem doing any of these things. All pets are different. If your pet is shy, I will just be there so that they know someone is present. I can play calming music, chat with them, whatever they seem to enjoy. If you want me to just do the chores and leave that's fine too. If your pet is really enjoying their time and I have nothing else to do after, I'll stay a little longer. No extra charges. WALKS: Walks are pretty straightforward. Same availability as drop-ins. If you choose a 30-minute walk, we will stick close to home. Timer doesn't start until all paws are on the ground :) If you choose a 60-minute walk, I drive and I am happy to provide field trips to nearby parks and dog-friendly places where you think your pup will feel comfortable. I prefer to keep the travel at a maximum of 15 minutes one way so that your pup gets at least 30 minutes of play/walk time.
