Pet care experience
Allowing your family to live in harmony with your senior, puppy, purebred, rescue or high-energy dog is the goal behind all my methods and activities. My background is in Golden Retriever Rescue, Veterinary and kennel work that included grooming, training and behavior modification as well as thousands of hours walking and playing with pets. I consider my forte to be home-life problem solving with the pet owners I work with, by addressing problem behaviors like barking, chewing or otherwise destructive outcomes of non-supervised dogs in the home while owners are not present. Hint: Exercise is a wonderful remedy! Attending the needs of geriatric dogs and all medicated pets are services I offer with utmost compassion and excellent quality caring. Lila is fantastic with my dogs. She gives them a safe and fun environment and is super communicative. My two Weimaraners are a bit of a handful but Lila does well with them and takes them on nice long walks and supervises their play in her yard. Highly recommend!
My dog spent the day with Lila while I had a business meeting in Oakland—and she had a wonderful time! She was cuddled, had treats, took a nice long walk—and snoozed the whole ride home! Lila was very responsive, communicative and accommodating. I received adorable photos throughout the day. I’m so pleased to have connected with Lila on Rover and would highly recommend her. My dog can’t wait for Lila to host her again!
Lila took care of our Mostro for 2 days. She has been great! Our dog is an high energy Australian Cattle Dog that is reactive with other dogs; Lila has been perfectly able to handle the situation and walked the dog for hours every day (even during a rainy day). Mostro was so tired in the evening that he literally felt asleep when he reached the couch at home. She has been very sweet with him and provided us with constant updates, both photos and texts. Lila is a very reliable dog sitter and I highly recommend her.
Lila remains the best dog sitter ever! My boy always comes home so happy and content. She's the only person who has ever kept him that he seems to prefer over me (I try not to be too jealous!). He is never anxious to leave and because she lives near me, he is always trying to walk towards her house. It's so sweet and I know he gets excellent care there. She was also really flexible with me when I missed a flight this last trip and had to pick him up later than expected. Highly, highly recommend!
