Pet care experience
I have had dogs all of my life and while I love all animals, I have a special love for dogs because dogs give love unconditionally, and I give them back love the same way. I have cared for puppies to senior dogs and I have had quite a bit of success in training dogs for unique requirements like potty training a dog to go indoors in a doggy "litterbox" (newspapers in a cat litter box) which saves the owner that live in apartments or have trouble getting around from going out, and also to keep people from having to take their dogs out on rainy days or late at night when they are sleeping. Dogs adore me because I adore them and I don't just "care" for a dog...I give them love and attention like they are my own dogs. By the way, my husband who works from home loves dogs as much as I do and will be involved with any dogs that stay with us as well.

I needed someone to take care of my dog Bemmer on an emergency basis where I had to leave the next day with no previous notice and Lila went out of her way to accommodate my needs. I had limited time and she was willing to meet me across town to meet Bemmer and she was so nice and helpful. Bemmer loved her from the moment that he met her and went with her with no problems whatsoever. She is also great for walking Bemmer when my schedule is so busy that I cannot take the time to walk him. I recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog and who wants a real dog lover to board or walk their dog.
Lila has taken care of my dog many times and every time that I leave Tasha with Lila, Tasha is so busy playing with Lila she doesn't even know that I am leaving. Lila is great with her and I can leave Tasha with the complete confidence that she will be well cared for loved while I am away. Lila is the BEST!

I am open to the dogs that I care for, but I am a VERY gentle person and I want the dogs that I care for to be gentle as well. I do not want any dogs staying with me in my home that are aggressive or that cannot get along and play with other dogs. I can care for a senior dog that has special needs and give them the special attention that they require, but I can also care for a puppy that has special, rambunctious demands as well. I insist that all the dogs that I care for are up to date on all of their shots, and other than a senior dogs that has special needs, all the dogs that I care for must have a clean bill of health.
A typical day
I love playing with dogs. I am the kind of person that will get down on the ground and play with them as I give them lots of personal love and attention. I will not take care of so many dogs that I cannot spend sufficient time with each one so that every dog that I care for will feel personally loved and not just one of the pack.
