Flexible schedule, love all pets
Pet care experience
Although I only have prior Rover experience, I have had pets all my life and can follow instructions easily. I myself have a mischievous cat and a 60lb very anxious, reactive dog whom I handle easily and have been working on rehabilitating after adopting him at 8 years old. I have 4 family members who regularly ask me to take care of up to 20 animals at a time for weeks and are always extremely happy with the results; specifically how strictly I keep up with their regimens, how much attention and time I spend with their pets, and how clean I leave all of the spaces I have access to. I am experienced with senior dogs and have given insulin shots before, and am perceptive with body language in almost any animal which can help when they aren't quite comfy with me yet.

Our cats love Ligaya - She is careful with our home and gentle with them. The photos we get from her let us know that they've fully warmed up to her and love having her around. Our home is always in great condition when we get back and that's huge in my book too. We'd always be happy to have her back, and I'm sure our kitties agree!
Ligaya was wonderful with our two cats and incredibly responsible with our home while we were gone for a couple of weeks. She went above and beyond, caring for my plants during the heat wave, and of course, making sure the kitties stayed safe, comfortable, and happy. We'd love to have her back!
Ligaya proved herself up for a challenge. We have an elderly Saint Bernard and two cats, all with their own quirks. We left her with our crew, as a practice run for an upcoming longer trip. It's a lot of responsibility and no one is perfect, but I really appreciated how Ligaya managed both a surprise and a mistake - she ensured everyone was safe and then contacted me to let me know and get further advice. This really earned my trust in her and we're looking forward to being able to relax knowing she's got everything handled while we're gone. Oh, and our dog who never likes anyone new at first, loved her from the get-go. She truly has a kind spirit about her and animals know that.
Ligaya is awesome! We've had her house sit twice and both have been great experiences. The dogs seem really happy with her and she even took the initiative to brush them while we were gone :) Highly recommend!

My cat is the only animal in the home, and therefore is spoiled with a balanced, custom-made food prep and lots of toys and treats. I am accustomed to spending at least three hours a day doing active animal care between my cousins and uncle, whether that's running two hyper huskies or herding 9 chickens into a coop. I learn fast and I am determined to get it right, no matter the effort.
Information Ligaya L. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed preferences, but I would like to know if a dog/animal has ever gotten near to harming or gets anxious around certain humans or animals. I also am very flexible with instructions you might want to give me for your animal, from schedules to trimming their nails (I can proudly say I've never quicked a dog or cat).
A typical day
With all animals, I always will love when they come up to me for a cuddle; I am always procrastinating work due to the cat rule lol. For all dogs I watch, all environments are training environments. I use their body language as my biggest indicator of the next step; some dogs want their tried-and-true daily route and some want to be driven out to go hiking. I love working through Rover because I get to comfort your animals while their favorite person has to be away, and I love seeing a cat show me their favorite spot on their cheek or a dog take a nap in front of me for the first time. I strive to make your pets feel safe and content, and I am determined!

Availability
It would be ideal for me to be walking at least one dog every day of the week- I love the exercise and I know it can be such a help with energetic pups. I have a mostly full-time job during the week, but it isn't a typical 9-5 so I do have some flexibility for sitting. I have experience with all breeds of dogs (I love pitties and german shepherds, etc.), not-so-affectionate cats, and Houdini-like chickens, but I am willing to learn and do my own research for any animals.
