Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, and an assortment of other animals, and have been house and pet sitting since I was 12. Now it's 22 years later and I still love dogs (and all pets) just as much and look forward to watching your pets and/or house while you're away! I am currently a full-time winemaker as well as a reservist in the Coast Guard; organization and responsibility are engrained in my personality. I have a clean driving record, a current EMT certification, am prompt and thorough in my work and value clear communication. My job is pretty flexible regarding work hours, so I am able to check in on things mid-day if necessary. I'm happy to send you updates/pics of your pets via email or text about how everything is going!

Liesl has always cared deeply for animals, both for our family pets and for neighbors' pets. She has gone out of her way to provide extra care for health needs of pets and to provide for their safety. She has also cared for wild animals that somehow became trapped in the area, one of which was a baby owl that flew into an area garage, but she was able to carefully enclose it in a box and bring it to the appropriate shelter in our area. Liesl will ensure your pet is safe and well-cared for in your absence. She is a natural with dogs of all kinds and even has been helping my dog be a better walker on the leash, teaching him how to heal beside her. She loves taking dogs out for hikes and long walks or just simply cuddling with them and looking after them if that's all that is required. Don't hesitate to trust your furry family with her.
Liesl is the most caring person I know. She is constantly volunteering to watch our co-workers dogs while they are gone on vacation. She is always taking the dogs on walks and hikes!
