In the past two years, I have completed over 300 hours walking dogs and volunteering at the Nashville Humane Association. I went through several training courses and programs at the shelter that addressed reactivity, animal behavior, and safety. I worked with dogs of all different breeds, sizes, and ages, many of which came from very abusive situations, hoarding environments, and animal testing labs. In addition to this, I have experience as a dog walker in my neighborhood as well as caring for my own beagles since I was 10 years old. I was also a pet sitter for both cats and dogs as a teenager. Finally, this past year I started working for Critter Calvary fostering dogs! The hardest part of being in college for me is not having a pet, I have always been a huge animal lover and miss my own dearly!
