Pet care experience
I have been vegan for a little over two years, and I work as a paraprofessional at an elementary school:) I have had dogs my entire life! My two large dogs passed away over the last couple years, so I’m definitely missing some doggy love. I love all ages and sizes of dogs and cats. I’ve taken care of 5 kittens and three cats at a time. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and I hope to pursue this passion and incorporate it into my future career and everyday life. One of my goals is to own and run a kennel. I also have experience taking care of animals through volunteering at animal shelters all throughout highschool and college. I like to believe I have a special connection with animals and I’d love to help out anyway I can with yours!

Libby did a fantastic job taking care of my dog and my 4 month old puppy while we were out of town! She was responsive and attentive - and followed all my special feeding requests exactly. I look forward to working with her again and I’m 100% sure my pups are too!
Libby stayed at our house a couple days and kept our gal from missing us too much. She’s good with Layla and everything went smoothly. Will definitely use her again.
Libby has been taking care of our pets for a few months and does an amazing job with them! We can tell she genuinely loves being with our pets. She was willing to not only care for two dogs, but a cat and a turtle when we need her. When we meet up to handoff keys, our dogs light up and get excited when they see her! She will definitely give anyone’s pets the attention they deserve and then some more!!

I live at home with my parents and have my own transportation. I cannot have animals at home, but I can visit them and take them any where for walks, vet or grooming visits, etc. I love playing with dogs and taking them on walks around the neighborhood or on different trails. I enjoy getting exercise, so it makes it so much better to have a happy companion with me!

It’s very important to know how to read body language with animals. I like to know their schedule, temperaments, fears, and any medication or vitamins needed. Basic commands are super important to know before working one on one with dogs too.
A typical day
Hyping up and exerting some of that pure energy your dogs have is one of my favorite things to do. I love going outside and playing and hiking trails with dogs! I also really enjoy training dogs by practicing basic obedience or even learning new tricks.
