I’ve always had a pet to care for while I was growing up, mostly dogs. My dad is a policeman and used to be partly responsible for the city dog pound, and when I was younger we regularly took the dogs home (usually no more than two) to stay for a long weekend. As of recently, I take care of my own two hedgehogs!
