Dear Pet Owner, I grew up with labradors and have loved dogs since I was a child! I have been working part time on Rover for five years. I am quick to respond to texts and emails, and I will send you an update after every walk. I also have experience walking multiple dogs at once and I have helped friends and family members care for their puppies. Whatever your specific needs are, I would love to work with you to create the perfect care schedule - whether that be walking your dog in the neighborhood or stopping by the house to say hello and play a quick game of fetch. Looking forward to meeting your dog! Note: I do have some experience caring for cats and other pets.

Before sitting a dog I would love to know as much as possible about your dog’s personality and needs as well as your own expectations. This would include your dog’s favorite places to walk, toys, and the commands you use as well as anything else you would like for me to know. This way I can ensure that I am meeting the needs of you and your dog. While I grew up around retrievers and have a special place for them in my heart, I have spent time around many different breeds and love ALL dogs regardless of breed.
A typical day
For the first few walks I would prefer to stay in your general neighborhood. If you have a route that is familiar to your dog, I will generally stick to that route in the beginning. Once I get to know your dog well, I am open to taking your dog to off-leash spaces. I am frequently exploring community parks and would love to take your dog along with me!

Availability
On weekends, I generally am available throughout the day to spend time with your pet! When providing overnight care, I usually walk dogs in the morning and evening, with longer walks in the evening.
