Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs since I was 5 years old and have always loved animals. Growing up, I was responsible for our two toy poodles’ walks and weekly baths. I loved playing with them and letting them sit with me while I did homework until they passed away from old age at 16 and 17 years old. While we had the two toy poodles, my family adopted a Husky and German Shepherd mix named Moe. I puppysat Moe many times while in school and after I moved to Erie for work and he always seemed to have a blast! He wasn’t very friendly towards other dogs besides our other two, but he was good as long as I made him sit while other dogs passed us on walks. My older sister adopted a mixed puppy that grew up to be massive and I have puppysat him many times! His name is Bear and it definitely fits him. He is also aggressive towards other dogs and some people, but as long as I keep the leash short and taught and my voice deep he behaves. I was responsible for watching him weeks at a time and also took him through the airport to fly to Germany where my older sister was stationed for the Air Force. Now, I have my own fur baby named Kenny! I give him baths regularly, walk him twice a day and let him snuggle with me every night. He is neutered and had all of his shots updated in July. Any issues or concerns I have, I consult my vet or friends at the Humane Society immediately to make sure I handle any and all health problems ASAP. It’s just me and him, so we do almost everything together!

Another awesome job! Can't say enough how much we appreciate all she does !
5 stars is not enough to show how much we appreciate LiAnna! She is the best! Not only did she brave the snow to make sure our fur babies were taken care of she even made sure our pipes didn't freeze! I am a firm believer that dogs are the best judges of character and ours absolutely love LiAnna! That tells us everything we need to know !
LiAnna is a delightful young lady and I am so glad I selected her to take care of my two pups. I have an old girl who can be set in her ways and a young rescue with anxiety. That did not deter LiAnna from taking us on. She cared for them at my home for 3 days, kept me informed, and my pets are happy. Definitely someone I will use again!!! THANK YOU!!!
LiAnna is always great and even managed to get our shy kitten to come out and say hello!

My doggo is named Kenny and I often call him my lil’ babe. He is 70lbs and absolutely LOVES other dogs and people. Kenny is a 2.5-year-old Hound and German Shepherd mix and I adopted him from the Erie Humane Society in November of 2018. I know he will love having a friend around for a night or so to hang out with! I live in a large two bedroom apartment and allow dogs to roam wherever they want as long as they are potty trained! I have carpets in the bedrooms and laminate wood flooring in the kitchen and dining rooms. I can block off those areas if necessary, but there is a couch there for the dogs to get comfy on if they want! YES, I do allow dogs on couches and my bed. Why not? Unless you tell me no, the answer is yes. I have a great vacuum with attachments that really does the trick when it comes to dog fur. Kenny sheds a lot, so I needed something powerful to make cleaning quick and easy. While I do not have a yard, my apartment complex is VERY dog friendly and has doggy stations between each block of buildings to clean up poop. I also have no problem taking the dogs in my car to McClelland or the Humane Society dog parks to run around. I only ask that you let me know if there’s anything I should be aware of in advance (aggressiveness toward certain breeds, behavior on car rides, etc). Also, I have a Furbo dog camera that alerts me if the dogs are barking, allows me to see them in real time, allows me to throw treats and speak to them while away for any reason.

If your dog has any special needs, dietary restrictions, isn’t house broken or is aggressive towards certain dogs, please let me know! Knowing their routine also helps me know when to feed them and take them out for potty breaks.

I currently work full-time, but my job is flexible and I’m normally driving to different places most of my shift. I do work Monday through Friday, but I work from 4 a.m. until noon. I’m pretty flexible with scheduling, but I prefer at least a week notice for overnight stays. That way I don’t make any plans to visit my family back in Ohio if somebody is in need of a sitter!
