I've taken care of a variety of my own pets since I was 6 years old--dogs, cats, fish, turtles, chickens, ducks, even sugar gliders! Sliding into the role of a pet-caretaker is a role that I am confident in, and my neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me many times to fulfill this roll.
