Pet care experience
I am a licensed human healthcare provider who has discovered a love for caring for and training dogs. I have cared for all sizes and personalities of dogs and cats. My own dog, Patty, was rescued from a kill shelter in 2018 and has since been working hard on improving her training and snoozing during her free time. I understand the importance of a strong bond with your canine companion and would be more than thrilled to work on leash manners and basic training! I am experienced with reactive dogs as well, both in my personal training journey with my dog and with others I have walked in the past. I have experience using a prong collar, e collar, and muzzle. I love to walk, run, and hike and am looking forward to bringing your dog on many adventures. I would also be happy to house sit while my partner cares for my dog at home.

I highly recommend Liana as she is a loving dog caregiver and responsible individual. Liana has watched my dog for me when I’ve been on vacation and made sure she was taken on walks, fed, and taken out. She is professional, patient and communicates well. I have also seen how she cares for and trains her own dog, Patty, who was rescued from a shelter in the South. Patty needed lots of help adjusting to her new life. It took a great deal of love and skill to restore Patty’s health and confidence, and Liana was willing to put in the time necessary. Now, Patty is very well behaved and expresses a lot of love for Liana. I have no doubt Liana will give your dog that same amount of love and attention.
Lia is just the best. She is such a natural with all three of my pets (two dogs and a cat), and is completely unfazed by my large and challenging malamute, Orca. Over the years, I've counted on Lia to walk both of my dogs (they're excitable when walking and not the easiest), and watch my cat. She goes above and beyond to make sure they have the individual care they need, and plenty of affection. Lia is always reliable, punctual, and friendly.
