I grew up in rural Wisconsin on 104 acres, there was a short period of time we raised Shelties and Sheltie/Boarder Collies. We would have a liter a year and every puppy we had would have a name and we would cry when it left. Those were some of the best years of my life. I was homeschooled so I got to spend all the time I wanted with the puppies. It was so hard to watch them leave. Yet, it was also so wonderful to watch peoples faces light up the way they would light mine up. The smell of puppy breathe should be a yankee candle if you ask me. After we stopped raising dogs because we disliked the idea of puppy mills and dogs not being rescued or adopted because puppies were everywhere, my love for dogs did not end. I had my own dog Lacie who had a couple litters herself. She was my baby. She was my shadow. I loved her more than anything really, I got teased because I was that weirdo who said my dog was my best friend. I did not care. It is true, there is nothing like coming home to the face of your dog just waiting for you. Nothing like seeing their whole body wag when you walk through the door, nothing like loving something so much you pick up their poop and carry it around in a bad. Similarly, there is very little worse than having to leave that face, hear that whine, to know your best friend will be missing you all day. Let me be the person who gets to be there for your dog. Let me be the one that can help you take care of your dog because life gets in the way. I promise to love and cherish your dog like I cherish my own. I have a puggle named Beatrice and she is the light of my life. Yeah, she is a turd... But she is my turd. I am extremely active and if you want I can run your dogs, walks work too. I have a large two bedroom apartment near Stonearch that I live in mostly alone. My roommate is mostly in St. Louis. She is home maybe once every other week. I do not have cats. I am a fulltime student but all my classes are online. I do work as a bartender, but I have a lot of time to be there for your dog. I have a car and can commute and pick up your dog or drop him or her off if that is necessary. I have grown up around dogs and always had my own. Dogs are more than just pets, they are part of our families. I would do everything to protect and take care of your furry family member. I have walked and doggie sat a dog named Ellie for over a year. She is actually tiktok famous and has been on several morning shows. She is PAWs pet and is pretty famous here in the twin cities. Ellie's owners have trusted me with their beautiful baby for nearly two years now and I even get her Christmas cards.
